Naruto Shippuden Arc 4 Talkback (spoilers)

OH CRAP THEY SENT PEIN TO GO AFTER THE SIX TAIL BEAST
Geez it's been a while for Naruto to make me go "HOLY!!!"
 
Wow, just watched the Itachi special. o.O That was epic.

I love how its enRAB with that creepy line:

"Forgive me, Sasuke. This is my reality. Give me your light." (Whatever happen to Sam, I'm sure she'd squeal with delight at the thought of Crispin Freeman voicing these lines in the dub).

To bad its too much of a spoiler to put into my signature. You got to love the crazy look Itachi had and the VA had the perfect voice. Watching Sasuke's eyeball bulge out like that and then that scream....What a way to end that hour special. There was a lot of flasrabroadacking but the fight scenes were done so incredibly well. I have to say I enjoyed this fight MUCH more animated then when I read it in the manga.

I also like how they gave glimpses of Itachi's vision and just how bad it was, he was nearly blind in this fight and yet he STILL fought so well.
 
Aw, dude, I wish he had asked how Crispin Freeman sounded doing Itachi during his freakout
Don't know why that gave me a giggle when I read.

More importantly, damn, FUNi's at Water 7? Maybe at this rate, we'll get those movies...
 
Just saw episode 147 and despite what I said a few weeks ago I'm actually really enjoying this arc. Probably one of the strongest filler arcs that we've had all series. In fact it's better than some of the cannon arcs this series has had {looking at you first 50 episodes of Shippuden}
 
An interesting way to end the arc, that's for sure. With ten weeks filled up and more material to cover I hope the next arc/stretch of manga adapted material will cover chapters #403-450.
 
I was actually dissapointed that we didn't get to see Utakata try to fight back.. I'm sure they will never touch on this, but man. Poor Hotaru. She is finally accepted by Utakata, but will probably never know his fate.
