banging her head against a brick wall? She was unemployed off and on for over a year but as she was actively looking for work and managed to get odd days with an agency she never signed on. She did try signing on but as she wasnt eastern european and spoke English she wasnt allowed to take me with her. This meant that the questions that I would have asked she didnt. Hence she never signed on properly and in the end couldnt be bothered to. However the insurance she had with Natwest required that she signed on. She had proof she wasnt working but never received benefits. For this reason they have refused to pay her any ppi. I think they gave her £200 in her account although this was about a quarter of what she should have got and in any event she never received it as the account was closed and she never got the money from it. We sent her case to ombudsman and the papers were returned to us last October. So we thought the case was closed and no luck. HOwever on phoning ombudsman he told me to send papers back to him and he will look at it. As apparently the first time round the ombudsman doesnt look at the paperwork but just forwards the papers on to relevant bank department. So now we are trying again to get her money back. Has anybody good any good advice that may help the case, only good advice needed no smart alecs, thanks
