think A Boy From Oz will ever be made into a movie? I saw it on Broadway and Hugh was amazing.

My fav musical is the '04 version of Phantom of the Opera (even though I can safely say that I'm just about as Erik'd out as one can be--I should be fixed in time to see the onstage version, though).

Sorry for the rant

i like Phantom of the Opera, Grease, westside story, les miserbles, music man.

I love the original, Annie was so cute. When I was younger, I refused to watch it but last year when I was in my old movies phase, I decided to rent it, and I love it.

Yeah. I swear, it got me so mad, you really shouldn't mess with something that's so good in the original!!! It's simply a disgrace!

I love Cool Rider and Reproduction. Score Tonight is good too.
Reproduction, reproduction!
Put your pollen tube to work.
Reproduction, reproduction!
Make my stamen go berserk.

I like that idea.
"I used to dream that I would meet a prince, but God almighty have you seen what's happened since"

I really wanted to go to the London Production (would've been the greatest thing ever to get to see Idina) but decided to go to the Bahamas with some friends instead and I'll be making a short trip to New York to see Wicked, The Color Purple and Mary Poppins (it'll be in previews when I see it)

But see...it doesn't matter if it makes sense that Latifah would give birth to a Keira Knightly or Lohan...it's that, no matter what, Latifah must be in the cast...because it's Latifah. She has a larger-than-life presence and she has to be in every hip musical movie.

Oh wait. She'd play Mrs. Thernardier...

I didn't like it either. Found it too melodramatic  I found Chicago better - but that was good the first time around, and not so good thereafter. Maybe it's just the thrill of seeing 'Cell Block Tango' for the first time.

My all time favourite musical is Singin' In The Rain although I'm partial to the Gene Kelly/Frank Sinatra/Jules Verne movies. They're so great together :D
