The Dark Knight. A good movie should be more than one persons performance. Take out Heath Ledger's (admittedly stunning) turn and you're left with an ill-conceived, witless, rambling, badly acted, bloated mess.
Titanic
Forrest Gump
Citizen Kane
2001
Terminator 3
No Country for Old Men
(the other film from the same year with Javier Bardem - can't remember the name, but over over rated)
Gangs of New York
Lost in fricking Translation - god that film was boring
All throughout the movie I couldn't help thinking that the producers main priority was to create a movie as cheaply as they possibly could.
The outdoor scenes were on a par with Doctor Who (pre 1980).
I know people will say that this wasn't supposed to be a big budget blockbuster like Star Wars but in this day and age the scenes should atleast look believable.
Incredibly overrated remake and not deserving of the Best Director Oscar either(feel sorry you haven't won one yet award...), give me the original anyday.
I was always under the impression that everyone agreed on the Internet that Lost in translation and to a certain extent Crash were crap and were never really rated in the first place.
Or, not.
Anyway my vote goes to Goodfellas. Ill just assume i am not the intended audience. Though the funny how line was indeed very funny.
