Most overrated movie ever

I take back 2001 & Casablanca. I've come to appreciate both of them a lot more. 2001 still isn't actively enjoyable to me but it is admirable.

I'd like to add The Exorcist instead.

The Dark Knight. A good movie should be more than one persons performance. Take out Heath Ledger's (admittedly stunning) turn and you're left with an ill-conceived, witless, rambling, badly acted, bloated mess.

Titanic
Forrest Gump
Citizen Kane
2001
Terminator 3
No Country for Old Men
(the other film from the same year with Javier Bardem - can't remember the name, but over over rated)
Gangs of New York
Lost in fricking Translation - god that film was boring

I know I'm gonna get slated for this but 'Moon'

All throughout the movie I couldn't help thinking that the producers main priority was to create a movie as cheaply as they possibly could.
The outdoor scenes were on a par with Doctor Who (pre 1980).
I know people will say that this wasn't supposed to be a big budget blockbuster like Star Wars but in this day and age the scenes should atleast look believable.

Is Twilight really overrated? Bar the obsessive nuts, I don't know anyone who thinks its anything other than pants.

But then i guess there are a lot of those obsessive fans (or, at least, they are VERY loud!)

I've said that for years. I much prefer the third part.

Silence Of The Lambs is my most loathed over-rated film. It's just ridiculous, with a ridiculous central performance.

I was always under the impression that everyone agreed on the Internet that Lost in translation and to a certain extent Crash were crap and were never really rated in the first place.

Or, not.

Anyway my vote goes to Goodfellas. Ill just assume i am not the intended audience. Though the funny how line was indeed very funny.
