Schindler's List (good, but not the work of genius its claimed to be. IMO The Pianist is far superior....)
 
Yeah I agree with you on Slumdog Millionaire. It was a good film, but at best it is a TV movie made into a cinema film. Not Danny Boyle's best(Trainspotting and Shallow Grave were better).

I probably add Million Dollar Baby as well. Whilst a good film was worth all of the hype it deserved. Clint's Unforgiven now there is a masterpiece, and Mystic River was also very good!
 
People who watch twilight expecting it to be good deserve to be disappointed. Christ, what did you expect from a frivolous romance book about vamps? A cinematic masterpiece?

Twilight is not that rated in the first place, the only peeps who "loved" it are teens enamored with fangs, on Robert Pattinson.
 
POTC. The first one was good but I got thoroughly confused by the second one and in the third one I gave up following the story, whatever it was! Plus it was horrifically long.
 
Withnail & I; it barely made me laugh at all.

Casino Royale (have yet to see QOS); it just wasn't 'Bondian' enough for me.

I'm not that keen on Star Wars either, it's not bad but I wouldn't go mad for it.

Both are above average,that's for sure,but neither are as good as their rank on imdb would have you believe.
 
Basic Instinct is overated. I found it dull. The infamous scene where she crosses her legs have no effect at all personally.

The Ice age franchise. The first one is fantastic. The second and third suck. Same with the pirates of the carribean franchise as well.
 
Titanic!!

My ex made me sit through that borefest so many times back when it came out.
I also don't know why Up has been hyped so much. It's an extremely boring and unfunny movie.
