Most emotional ending to a film you've seen?

I cry at everything! I'm finding it hard to not cry just reading this thread! haha

But some films... loaRAB already listed...

Titanic
Love Actually (the entire film! Some of the deleted scenes too - watch them!)
Watership Down
The Plague Dogs
Ghost

And loaRAB of others! One thing that gets me is when a character in a film is overcome with a sudden happiness... it just gets me!

I can't think of an example :o *looks at DVD rack*

edit: ooh I've thought of an example! In Hairspray when

Inez wins Miss Teenage Hairspray

It just gets me!!!!

The ones that stand out for me -

Beaches - can't hear Wind Beneath my Wings without thinking of them on the beach, with Debra Winger's character basically dying.

E.T - When he goes home!

The Green Mile

I'm awful for getting teary at films, there's probably so many if I think about it, as I get emotional if it's sad or emotional if it's happy :o The ones I can think of right now are:

The Green Mile
Pursuit of Happiness
Babe
3:10 to Yuma
Shawshank Redemption
Pay it Forward

The Wicker Man. The way you are with Edward Woodward all the way through that awful ending.

E.T Even though it is meant to be happy that he is going home it is so sad.

The Champ
The Green Mile

Really - I thought it was just mawkish. I can't believe it was deemed "morally upstanding children's entertainment" as Walden Media would no doubt insist.

I've cried at the end of so many films - even Monsters Inc. :o

The ending to The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas really, really got to me.

Step Mom's another one; when she's saying goodbye to her children. I weep like a baby in that film, every single time. :o

Cried like a girl at The Champ.

Silent Running also did me good.

But I think the one film where I cried, and also felt quite emotional on top of that was The Truman Show.

The ending scene where Truman is standing on the steps talking to Christophe and he's about to go out into the real world and he looks at him and says "If i don't see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night". Then he salutes him and enters the door.

I went at that point :o :o :o :o :o

Titanic-Not Jacks death that just seemed a bit bleh. But as already said the montage of people the old couple and the women with her children just awwwwwww!!

Sixth Sense-No clue why but when he's saying goodbye to his wife and the music and the video playing in the background

Butterfly effect-Again not sure why it aint even that sad an ending lol but it was the ending where he tells her he hates her when he sees her as a kid then its awww never together and all that..the baby ending also got me second time round the first time just seemed weird

Phenomenon with John Travolta... really moving.
Pay it forward... cried so much.
I know it wasn't the end of the movie but the dog scene in I am legend made me cry buckets.

Boohhoooooo....:cry::cry::cry: The BIGGEST cry ever for me....

The end of Schlinder's list as well when the real people put the stones on his grave... I didn't cry so much as get all choked up

I had my number one most embarrassing moment in the cinema during ET. The bit where Elliott and ET are on the bike being chased, and they get to a precipice, I was so involved in the film and so worried about them that I yelled, "Fly!" very loudly, and everyone turned round.

I was 22 at the time. :o
