Most Depressing Band / Song(s)

I voted for Tool, their video clips are really dark. I haven't heard much of them though. A perfect circle is pretty ****ing depressing, the cover of "Imagine" drained alot of life out of me that day.
 
i voted Radiohead... i never listen their music cause of their constant depression feeling... i hate that feeling we are the victim and nothing else to do....
 
....do you not think i havent heard those songs? i ownly literally everything they've done. and yes, granted, OK computer, amnesiac and kid A dwelve in more negative overtones. but the messages prevalent in their sonhgs are uplifting, its almost lyrical advice and help. the benRAB and large segments of pablo honey, hail to the thief and even OK computer have that affect.
 
Coldplay. I'm sorry, cut Chris Martin just makes me think of butt-****ing orgies. I have no idea why. And I find them incredibly bland and uninspired.
 
if i haven't done that in my 8 months here, why should i start now.
i hate to repeat myself, but you should have learned by now, there is only my opinion, other opinions don't exist and/or are not valid or worth as much as mine.....

very true alexisonfire - Poor Ian… having epilepsy and doing a lot of drugs apparently leaRAB to a short life with a tragic ending.
 
I'm amazed no one has mentioned Billie Holiday - Strange Fruit yet. That gets my vote as the most depressing song ever.



I'm thinking 'Happy Happy Joy Joy' would be the ultimate title for it.
