So they were not kids?

Here is you, disagreeing with you:

Call them smuggling kids if you like, just try and be consistent.

Whelp, shouldn't have been throwing unknown items at bridges on the boarder of two countries where political and social tensions are high.

Anytime. Hey, how is the wall of fail that is a 'threads started by user' search under your username(s) that a teenager owned you with doing?

feel better?
I am just fine with it. There is no "feeling better" about it.
I am looking at this from a LEO standpoint with use of force.

and you are avoiding the point because it nullifies your arguments. He was intentionally sneaking across the border, not just "playing around". He was breaking the law and when BP officers went to arrest them, 1 kid ran across the border, stopped, turned around and started attacking the agent who was holding one of them down to arrest them, oh and the video shows that there was another one on the US side behind the pillars also throwing shit at the agent.

You people who act like the agent is somehow justified are fucking pathetic. I hope your first born dies so the rest of us can laugh and feed our egos.

dont throw rocks at police or hang out with people that do, dont get shot by said police officer. its pretty fucking simple.

im not even going to reply to this non-sense. "kid-killing-cop" go fuck yourself.

you are a fucking joke and i hope some cop or illegal alien kills you for no reason

I'd wonder if the same would happen in the streets of a city with a 14 y/o American citizen throwing rocks at a police officer. hmmmmm

After watching the video I'm torn. The Officer should not be charged with anything but personally I don't think I would have shot.

SERIOUSLY?

So you think that crossing the border illegally, smuggling drugs while crossing the border illegally, and assaulting an officer while smuggling drugs while crossing the border illegally was all IRRELEVANT to the kid getting shot?

You're a lunatic.

If you think they are issuing border agents lever action carbines that are 120 years old, you got another thing coming.

You and others are arguing fault on the part of the dead kid. That for throwing rocks, he set in motion a chain of events that justifiably lead to his death.

I'm replying with the same argument, only with positions of the actors reversed. If you don't like the logic, or think it sounds like victim precipitation, then perhaps you should rethink your position.

An earlier NPR report talked about rifles seen in the area. What do you think that means? So you know the calliber was .40? Was he shooting from cover off the bridge? We know he rode up and started shooting--according to at least one interviewed on the scene witness. What exactly was he shooting with? They must have rifles in their trucks; maybe a truck pulled up and handed one or a few out...I'm speculating as much as anyone else.
