Married, Single, Other

Let it go... This is an outstanding series it does exactly as I expected they would have written on the tin. It has made me smile, laugh and feel all judgemental even whilst reminding myself this is just a tv programme. It has had my head hurting with tightness and my eyes like rivers with crying and still amongst all this I realise that I truly do like the feeling of love, 'tis is what is important. All wrapped up in a very beautiful bow.

well you've just proved me right, the name is funneybone, its obvious you cant read either :p I do not go out of my way to offend anyone but if you cannot make a comment without the use of bad language then you do not have a good vocabulary if i offended you then i apologise, but your use of bad language did offend me :(

Can't see a thread on this, apologies if there's one around.

Anyone else going to watch this tonight? Looks like it could be worth a watch I thought...

I thought it was a bit run of the mill but TBH I think I was put off my that trailer being shown morning, noon and night! It was exactly what I expected.

I really liked the ending of the series, but the scene with the eldest son really jarred me. His mother just died, yet he's lying on his bed with an odd smile. What's that all about?! Maybe if I got the feeling he was smiling that his mother got a good send off, or remembering good times but feeling ready to move on, but I didn't. The smile was too broad, and I thought it was kind of disconnected with the emotional tone of the sequence.

I also thought the end scene with all of Eddie's frienRAB catching him and supporting him would have been more powerful with a longer series and seem more of their frienRABhips. I really liked this show, but think it would have benefitted if it hadn't been a touch rushed.

Anyway, hope it comes back for series 2!!

Let's face it I didn't have any expectations from ITV but - with the exception being Cold Feet - once comparisons were drawn I thought I'd give it a go.

Oh and Ralf Little - should never play anything other than the little brother or bit part, not enough gravitas, presence, ability to carry this part

Oh my god, that's who it was! I didn't recognise her with the long hair. I was racking my brains trying to work out where I'd seen her before.

I agree with everyone that it was all rather rushed. Lucy Davis's character really got on my wick at the beginning with all her clever lines and quips - but if there is going to be a 2nd series they could have at least let her last till the end of the 1st one!
I feel a whole episode was missed out on somehow - where everyone would be taking in the news of her illness. It did seem like she was diagnosed and then died within about 5 minutes!

I think her eldest son was just smiling a little bit that night - that he had the girl he fancied sleeping in the same room as him - and he got an inkling that she liked him too, so he was grinning at the prospect of it developing into something. :)

Their dance at the wedding did it for me. Shaun is very sexy and that voice is great. Still not too sure about Lucy Davis in this her facial expressions are a bit frozen at times. Very sad ending.:cry:

The Facebook fan page is mad - so many people asking if there'll be a second series. I don't think the writer has even had a chance to answer any questions yet. :D
