maple syrup!!

I've found that I like the bottled brand stuff you buy in the store more than the real stuff you get in places like Vermont :shrug:
 
We can't have basements where I live. :pout: Not sure where I could hide a vast supply of maple syrup. :lol:
 
jelly crystals? you mean gelatin? i don't know if jelly spread has gelatin, i should check. i'm vegetarian & don't consume gelatin.

mmm peanut butter & maple syrup whipped together sounds good :P
 
You know, I didn't even know the stuff I was eating wasn't real maple syrup until a good :ff: Canadian friend explained the difference :thud:
 
:lol: It was either strawberry jam or molasses...and I don't care for molasses on pancakes. The jam thing kinda makes me think of how blintzes are served and I love blintzes.

A friend gave me that glass. It's just the best thing for orange juice. :)


....Note to self: buy maple syrup!
 
Oooh! Yum! Where was this factory? I've been dying to make a trip up to New England and a syrup factory should definitely be on my list ;)

try pancake mix? but really it's not hard to make pancakes, it's just flour, egg, baking powder, oil & milk
 
Ugh, I was an international student in Canada for a year and everyone ate maple syrup. Yuck. This stuff is disgustingly sweet.

Never heard of Jelly Crystals. Or maybe it's because I don't eat a lot of Peanut Butter and Jelly. Unless if I end up buying those Smuckers crustless sandwiches (which is a rare case).

Now that you brought it up, I hope it's real jelly.
 
I was going to actually comment if Dev was referring to Daph's cheese whiz/maple syrup combination. :lol:
 
:nod: Made me want some pancaskes, too. So here you go, silver-dollar size pancakes with sour cream and strawberry jam. Sorry but I forgot to buy maple syrup. :rolleyes: Eating these right now--really good. :) You've got to try pancakes with sour cream. :nod:

My mom and I went shopping the other day and ironically, we were looking at maple syrup on the shelves and commented on how we didn't have pancakes for a long time. :lol: I mean, we do buy pancakes but they're already cooked. Maybe it's because we got lazy to make them or something.
 
I like real maple syrup, but my weakness is maple sugar candy. I can only eat like a piece though because it's so sweet
