I love McDonald's pancakes and syrup :) Since working there I've discovered the breakfast menu and it's really nice. Despite me working in kitchen :D. I want some now. :(

Would have to try it some day.

I've heard of maple flavored sausages. Never tasted the soy version but they were pretty good.

If it is, (not saying I'm doubting or not) the company really does a good job on hiding the hide and hoof flavor.

Actually, waffles with peanut butter is good. Less drippy mess than maple syrup.

Treacle, syrup, and molasses are all products of the sugar-making process.

Borrowing from a couple of Wikipedia articles:

I also visited Ask.com to find some more answers--really a great site to find out stuff. This came from a link to BlurtIt.

I've got to take issue with one thing in this article because I think that there is a difference between treacle and molasses because treacle is thicker. This next bit from FunTrivia makes a bit more sense in that regard.

...........and, BTW, it takes approximately 40 liters (10 gal) of maple sap to be boiled down to 1 liter (1 quart) of maple syrup.

ahhh cabane a sucre, the best part is simply hot maple syrup on snow.

yay another habs fans but yet the habs thread in the sport section is dead...

:) I enjoy pure mayple syrup from Vermont. However, I do enjoy Mrs, Buttersworth syrup, too. Now that I have diabetes, Sugar free Mrs. Buttersworth is really good. I had to decide it is important to keep my blood sugar levels low enough. If it is low, I do have regular syrups.

 that was all that I know of too, until a girl on another board brought to my attention real maple syrup

nope nope. I'm sure. just try it. place the ice cream scoop on top of the waffle, and have bits of waffle dipped in ice cream

I don't see anything wrong with peanut butter on Eggos either :P
I sometimes put cheeze whiz on mine and THEN add maple syrup
