Mamma Mia!

I went to see this on yesterday while the kiRAB were at school and was totally fantastic.

End of term next Wednesday - just trying to work out if I can squeeze in another morning visit to the cinema before then......

I'm gay and didn't find it offensive in the slightest, just funny lol. He doesn't just grab the nearest guy and get it on, he met the guy at the hen party and by the end of the film he's in a "relationship" with him, it's a film, a light fluffy film. Do you have a problem with all happy endings in films that are unrealistic? Were you expecting them all to die alone?

i TOTTALLY concur with that !!TDK fans should lighten up!some people like dark gloomy films !personally i prefer to be cheered up when i see a film and mamma mia does that like no other film! 148 mins of pure cinematic fun and enjoyment !

:p
I'd have simply loved to have seen Amanda Seyfried, Kristen Bell and I don't really have a third favourite ever actress to play Sophie, Ali and Lisa! :D

I've had my DVD stood up next to my computer since about 5pm this afternoon.. can't stop staring at it.. as a result I've just put the same promo shot as wallpaper on my phone :D

I'm off to see it again tomorrow!
First time I've seen the Singalong version, REALLY looking forward to it!

Edit.. aw, I take that back. They don't seem to be showing the Singalong version anymore. :(

Yes i agree! its a pity we are so close and yet so far, yet if universal had delayed the dvd launch it would have made number 1 ..though it still might do it! ...the wickepedia figure of around

Grrr I'd be watching it now if Woolworths had managed to send it out on time. No wonder they are in financial doo-doo with such poor pre-release order handling.

:D

I think I shall have seen it 5 times by the time Friday comes:D

Thank God for my unlimited card!

Well they're not really well respected. I'm a great advocator for Wikipedia and a regular contributer and editor.. but they're not really known ALL the time for great accuracy giving anybody can edit it! :(

I'm trusting the UK Film Council on this one..

We, the fans, have supported the film since its release in July.
Many of us, ie. we, have went to see the film multiple times.
We have paid our money to help make this film number one.
We have been posting about this movie for months now.

WE DID ITTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG. I'm so happy when I read the news last night I couldn't actually sleep. I feel so happy to be part of this.. I've never even seen Titanic, so for a film to be at the top of the charts that I saw five times at the cinema is amazing. I might go once again at the weekend to celebrate!!

It's now official though.. Mamma Mia! has broken all recorRAB in the UK. What else is there to break? What else are we going to talk about?

LET'S SEE IF IT CAN GET TO SEVENTY MILLION!!!! :D:D:D
