I think it's very much a 'cinema film'. The atmosphere is great. I've never been to a film where the audience are so...involved. When I first went loaRAB of people applauded at the end and I was because I'd never had that before.

Im planning on going and seeing Mamma Mia! for the 5th time this week because I want to see it one last time on the bg screen before I get the DVD (which I have already pre-ordered!
My mother found this film absolutely hilarious. It's been reported that people have went back and back again to the cinema to see it because it's that funny. I have yet to watch it, but I'll see if it lives up to what she says of it.
Dunno if you know this or not, but the sountrack album has now reached No.1 in the US..........something that no original ABBA album ever managed to do.
Went to see it last night. Wonderful escapist, feelgood film. Felt more like I was at a show than the pictures, with everybody singing and clapping along. Julie Walters hilarious as always.
Heh, It's funny, I noticed in the US after the 2 weeks the theaters are legally obliged to carry a movie the number of places showing Mamma Mia went *up* a bit, while Dark Knight went down
