Heres a few quick picks out of the bin.

that shelf is fracking awesome and i'm ridiculously jealous of the magical mystery tour album, i think i'm going to buy it online i saw some used ones for 15 bucks. totally worth it, beatles best album imo

Thanks man, The shelf is just a used Fruit box i got from behind a Grocery store, they have plenty of (clean) ones back there and they make perfect record boxes, and i agree with The magical mystery tour album, one of my favorites of theres for sure.

Just picked up a couple more at a used record store

pic is blurry but it's Something Else by The Kinks and Sweet Dreams Are Made of This... by Eurythmics

Also I saw a massive brian eno box set for $75... Looked pretty sick but i'm not spending that much on someone i've only heard a few songs from

while you are there you should take a picture of the old man's orange crates full of recorRAB and post it up. Btw, Answer your phone once in awhile, especially if its a wierd ass nuraber you don't recognize.

anything flat on the table is hip hop. mostly anything by stones throw or wu-tang. stacked up on the table are just some best recs i got for like $5 or less (like dnb and underground instrumentals). and on the keyboard are just battle breaks.

I feel like I'm the only one who keeps bumping this thread...

Today I bought a YesSongs LP triple vinyl, Moody Blues, and America all for a total of $6.50

...Also came very close to purchasing an album I found called Oh, How I Love Jesus

Went to goodwill today, made a fracking killing. I got Fleet Foxes, Miles Davis live at Carnegie Hall in 1961, Blackalicious, Mary Poppins, Jay Z American Gangster, Wu-tang greatest hits and Parliament Funkentelechy vs The Placebo Syndrome and a mostly working Pioneer Pl-L30 for $6. Pics to come later. The player needed a TT belt and some tinkering with the electronics, but I got it working in 20 minutes.

Volume output is low even through my roommate's amped home theater set up, and I know for a fact that it gets loud enough to shake some fillings loose, any idea how to fix that?

Thats about what I figured, We've got the RCA's running through a converter that makes them a headphone input, I was thinking a cheapy headphone amp would do the trick.

Same thing happened wtih the vinyl player my brother bought because it was an older model. Although it had RCA plugs, it didn't sound great when we plugged into my converter because the radio we were plugging it into was fairly new. But when he found an amp with the "phono" outputs it sounded clear as a bell

Awesome finRAB by the way, I have sun giant and fleet foxes ST album on vinyl and they sound amazing

Did I tell you all the recorRAB together were $1? The player was $4 and I got a radass Speedracer/mach 5 helmet too, it was a good day. I'm going to hit up some more goodwills and vinyl stores tomorrow and i'll hopefully get the gooRAB. Regardless of what I find tomorrow i'll post up some pics of what I have. Hopefully i'll find some vintage cool speakers made for record players.

Hell yes they do, goodwill sells whatever people bring in and normally have a solid assortment of recorRAB just because no one really buys vinyl anymore and a lot of people are getting rid of their collections in favor of something lighter like mp3s.

I got these at a goodwill good cents store, I think the idea is damn near everything is a dollar or less but I really have no idea, sick deals to be had if you can find one though.

I went to goodwill today and all i got was a couple shirts haha... Then again, this goodwill just opened up about a week ago, There's an older one about ten minutes away that might have some more stuff

Some new purchases

Album - Girls
Tonight - David Bowie
"The Worst of Jefferson Airplane"

The jefferson airplane was an amazing find for me, it has white rabbit, somebody to love and today on it and I played it so loud, I thought my speakers were going to explode
I also found magical mystery tour in the same bin as jefferson airplane and i tried to talk the guy down from the listed price which was $20 and he said he wouldn't budge and I told him to look at the actual vinyl because it was in terrible condition and he still said no. fracking bastard, the thing looked unlistenable anyway, I wouldn't have bought it for 5 bucks
