Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

I know, it's horrible! I remember reading somewhere that the BBC was taken over by some young whippersnapper who doesn't like period dramas and wants to stick with more contemporary, gritty shows. Bleah! I knew it was going to spell doom for our wonderful LRTC. Let's hope there will be enough outcry from the viewers that they will consider more episodes beyond the six we're getting next year. But by then the cast may have signed contracts to do other projects and then all will be lost!
Okay... Must. Stay. Positive.

My friend who is an assistant producer has just said they are starting filming in 2 weeks.
Though I would share this with with my fellow spyers :)

They would have known how to survive a wee bit of snow SS, unlike us wimps today relying too much on supermarkets and cars :p:p, we should all get horses and carts and wear longjohns and make our own clothes and sweets........I've just been watching 'The Victorian Farm':p
........I've also been drinking my sister's home made red pop, so yes I have calmed down, looking forward to tomorrow night 8pm, I hope the story pans out so that I have to apologise unreservedly to all concerned for my rantings, but......:(:(

Edit: just watched the preview clip on the website.........daniel gives 'emma dibber' the good news of her inheritance:cry::cry::cry::mad:

Congrats on finishing your last final, k. I remember that incredible feeling of finishing a semester quite well!

Anybody listen to the radio drama "The Archers"? I just got hooked on it and have been downloading it to my iPod. Love it! :D

One hour and 45 minutes until I can get home and watch yesterday's episode! Drat this having to work--I want to be home watching Lark Rise and see what happens on Mischief Night!

I adore Twister! He's my favourite, although I have rather a soft spot for Alf.

Twister should have his own show imo. Well, Queenie could be in it too.

Hello Everyone

LarkRiser - I have been keeping up to date with your story. It is brilliant. I look forward to logging on for a new installment. Keep up the amazing work :)

I will hopefully be able to join you all for the LRtC re-runs. I love this show so much! cant wait for some Series 4 news! My dream job would be a LRtC researcher!!!!!! ;)

Take care :)

That's it!!! Sir Tim JD swapped at birth. Tim returns a commoner and Dorcas can get together with him as they are no longer swapped at birth!

JD no longer has to social climb!

That or one of them wakes up in the shower....

Thanks so much LarkRiser, what a great welcome :)

I love what you've said about Dorcas and Sir Tim, I think everyone got caught in that Catch22 situation along with them - so obviously right for each other on one level but totally impossible on another. So many scenes between them were so intense - I loved the one with his hand brushing hers on the counter. Plus the episode where he assumes Dorcas will accompany him to the musical evening in Lark Rise. He sits there, verging on the smug, and you can see Dorcas thinking, "Bloody man, having your cake and eating it!" as if her hormones are taking a swipe at the nearest male and she says she won't go with him after all. His confusion is something that Dorcas thoroughly enjoys.

I wish series two could have been man-free and then someone maybe introduced in series three. Sorry, but Dorcas in love is great to watch!

So many other characters are so well loved in our house too - my husband particulary cracks up at almost everything Twister says. The Pratt sisters are jewels (come back Ruby!) and Minnie is a sweethearted delight.

We shall buy series three on DVD, then watch it after series one and two, which should hopefuly fill the terrible void at 8pm on Sunday evenings. It really is that bad!

I'm willing Julia to write her autobiography so I can camp out at a book-signing to say hello and thank you in the flesh! OTT? Maybe, but Lark Rise is well and truly under my skin!

Roll on January 2011 - eeek, ages and ages!!!

Yes, As Glides the Stream is down on my Amazon wish list! ;) :D

I'm not so sure about the others as I am not really into reading.. I'll see how I get on with AGTS first. :D Glad you're enjoying yours now LTC is over......although I'm still watching the repeats.

Everyone download as many as you can from iplayer and you have them until around 28th April. Would that be better than reviewing series 1 ep 1 on 5th April? Make use of this series again while we can? Just an idea. :)

:DDon't worry VG we won't fall out.......I agree with you about all the rest........oh except for Pop Star to Opera Star...... and Maestro:D:D............all the rest is definitely tat:p.........except the new one that Sue Perkins is going to do maybe............all the rest definitely:D:D

:yawn::yawn::yawn:bed time
