Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

maybe i am just being an ass.......again:D:D

but the thing i couldnt and in this episode were dorcas's earings
in the scene when she does back to the golden lion and is sitting at the fountain her earing are such a distraction for me
even the slightest move of her head makes they earing sway like crazy and they drove me nuts:rolleyes:

Saw a 'young Sir Tim' this afternoon in an episode of The Round Tower by Catherine Cookson, alongside Emilia Fox, didn't recognise him at first he looked so young........must be at least 10 years ago.

Must admit still can't quite like Daniel yet. He seemed to be a little less smug last night so maybe he'll grow on me.......hope so cos I have a feeling he's going to be around for the duration:D

OK, so I was really cross with Dorcas in last week's episode and her "something missing" comment. So much so that I have arranged to go out tonight and will miss episode 8. I am regretting it now, of course. Will have to catch up on iplayer.

Perhaps the young Dorcas was right; that even though Timothy was so in love with her that he was prepared to cast convention aside, the marriage might have been a disaster in the face of society's opprobrium.

That doesn't mean that Dorcas hasn't continued to love him, perhaps only realising just how much when it was too late and he was married to someone else.

If they married now (or a series or two down the line) the fiercy furnace of heartache and repressed longing they have been through should have left them mature enough to make it work.

There would the small matter of the lovely Adelaide for the script writers to sideline! Actually, I have warmed towarRAB her, but even so, I do have some fanfiction storylines in gestation involving death in childbirth or possibly being run over by a horse and carriage as she hastens to meet her gentleman friend, if the writers need any inspiration!

I have written a chapter of fanfic about the very first meeting of Dorcas and Timothy, if anyone is interested, posted on LiveJournal http://lady-loves-blue.livejournal.com/1406.html

Today it's Natasha Kaplinsky, Matthew Pinsent, Graham Norton, John Hurt & Carol Vorderman. So that's Holocaust, Royalty, Rebellion, Illegitimacy and War
history in a nutshell.........brilliant:D

a place where you can admit to being obsessed with a fantasy and where you can spell however you want

Mark Heap in a new series ...............this week I think, with Ruth Jones of GAvin and Stacey fame..........something about hiking.........sorry it's a bit sketchy..........can't find the magazine it was in...................numpty:D:D

Good grief! It's a wonder none of you has come down with pneumonia! Well, this fan very much appreciates you all for enduring such harsh conditions to bring us this wonderful show! :)

Mr Blakestone got a mention in S1 Ep 10 H7, when Dorcas was going to sell him the Post Office:)

Mr Rushton was the Post Office Inspector

Yes, poor Ruby. I felt sorry for her, too.

Let me know when you find out!

Julia is incredible. I am in such awe of her. There are a lot of excellent actors out there, but very few bring such an intense presence to the screen as she does. It's like she exudes this incredible life force or something. LOL! I wonder if she has any idea what affect she has on people? With such an amazing talent every show she does is a gift to us, the viewers. Sorry, I know I'm gushing, but in rewatching these episodes I'm sitting there shaking my head in wonder once again at Julia's portrayal of Dorcas. I hope she never gives up acting. The world would be a much duller place if she did.
