Lark Rise To Candleford Series 3

Hope we will get some of the LRTC fans crossing over to Emmerdale from April when a certain Jason Merrells joins the cast (unfortunately this pretty much rules out any return to LRTC as JD :(

Yes that was the cast member I didnt recognise, still havent a clue. Is the actress who plays her Cassie the singer? or am i completely off track?

You can't get into trouble for telling us what's not going to happen can you!? Could take a long time to work anything out though :)

Don't know how that can be the first compliment you gor about J Creek! Put it this way at least you acted your role in that series

I look forward to you joining us in the series 1 episode reviews soon! :)

You know, with the Tim/Dorcas story I'm writing, I am hoping Dorcas doesn't get a love interest in series 4 myself. You'll see why when you read the ending. ;)
If it's not Timothy then I don't want her with anyone else. I feel like I have to rush to finish my story before series 4 starts just in case! LOL!

the way that she cares for sidney is a softer side to her nature

as far as her relationship with JD i dont think she was as self rightous as she was guarded

i feel that because of sir tim she lived in heartache for so long that it was hard for her to let someone in then when she finally did he turned out to not to be the person she thought he was which hurt her so she shut him out completely

you know how people say in conflict people do one of two things, fight or flight, she took flight

I know! I can't believe I sat through an hour of that (apologies to fans out there). I even double-checked the ITV site.

Angelheart - let us know when you really will be on!

Oh well, only 2 days to go...:)

Hannah, I was thinking the very same thing the other day. For me, Dorcas is the main character. She is the most interesting to me. But, if you think about it, Laura is supposed to be telling the story through her eyes and who is the "main character" in Laura's life at this point? It's Dorcas. Dorcas is the main influence on Laura right now-- her teacher, her mentor.
Also, what interests me in a character is what lies just beneath the surface. The mystery of that character. There is no real mystery to Laura--we know who she is and what she's looking for. Dorcas is extremely enigmatic and whenever she's in a scene I sit up and pay close attention, trying glean clues from those eyes that are at once both revealing and trying so hard to hide something. Dorcas strives so hard to remain in control of her emotions, but it's those times when she slips up and reveals who she really is that I live for.

You mean series1? :) Yeah, I need to get crackin' on the next scene in my story. It's been giving me a little trouble which is why it's taking so long. Part of it is written already, though. I'm hoping to get home soon and start working on it! :D

I really enjoyed tonight's episode. There were several laugh out loud moments. Twister's comment about Dorcas's interfering being well known as far as Fordlow and maybe even Oxford was great. Also Thomas passing out due to lack of air and Robert's four weaknesses speech.

It's also so beautiful to look at. The scene with Alf standing in the cornfield with a stormy sky above was particularly lovely.

If there's ever a chance for a mention of JD it must be during next week's episode. Even if the poor bloke doesn't make an appearance Dorcas would surely drop him a line to let him know his son was so ill. We live in hope! Roll on next week ...

Welcome, harryq123! I love Dorcas and Minnie's scenes together, too---they never fail to make me laugh. And Julia is very much a treasure to us Americans as well! :)

Aren't we jumping the gun a little, assuming series 4 will be the last just because it's been reduced:confused:.

Saying that, I personally hope it is because it will be 1897 and time for Laura to leave:D
