S Shanks New member Aug 29, 2009 #3 If both subs together are 350 RMS, I'd recommend getting a 500W amp. Giving the subs a little more than RMS is usually good cause the peak power should be around 1000W for the subs, which it'll never reach.

O odinsragess New member Aug 29, 2009 #4 A 1000 watt amp wont drain a battery, you have other issues. The alternator powers the amp when the car is running. 300 watt amp will work, but you will not have very loud bass.
