Iron Man

Saw it today.

Loved it. Having never actually seen a comic or cartoon involving Iron Man, it was by far my favourite comic book film yet, or at least on a par with X-Men.

Really good, exciting, current and great to look at.

Really like Gwyneth Paltrow now aswell.

Booked 3 Tickets to see it on Saturday night with some mates. Should be an awesome movie! It's received some excellent reviews so far, so it's looking really rather good indeed.

Oh btw guys, worRAB out on the street that apparently there'll be a brand new 'The Dark Knight' Trailer showing before the film starts. Can't wait to see it!

Infact if I'm entirely honest, I'm looking forward to that a whole lot more than seeing the main feature itself!

Wow.. what a film!! Definitely my favourite Marvel film so far!! (and IronMan wasn't my favourite superhero, maybe now he is!)
So much action, humour - everything!

Couldn't of had a better Stark than Robert Downey Jnr either... fits perfectly.

Can't wait for the sequel lol

Nice cameo by Nick Fury too :D

I'm not because it's just another symbol of the lazy "keep them quiet" parenting that exists in this country nowadays.

I bet if you questioned each and every parent involved, they'd probably have no idea what certificate it even was.

Anyway, rant over.

Loved the film. Some great laugh out loud moments and good pacing and action as well.

Loved the first test of the rocket boots where he slammed into the wall and the robot sprayed him with the fire extinguisher behind the car :)

And the pole dancing air hostesses :D

I saw an advance screening of it today, it was really good, much better than I had expected, I thought it was going to be a rehash of Transformers or the Fantastic Four, but it was very very good, and not predictable.

Saw this film today with my sons. I was very surprised how much I enjoyed it. RDJr was brilliant as Tony Stark and Gweneth Paltrow was lovely as Pepper.

Proof of what happens when you cast a superhero movie well. Really really damn well!

I heard that Jon Favreau had to twist the arm of the studio to cast RDJ as they thought he was too old to be a comic book hero. The film would have been distinctly average without him. I would quite like to watch it again solely because of his performance.

I did It!
I have a habit of jumping out of my seat a second before the credits role and I'm constantly annoyed by finding out that I should have sat through them.

Agreed. Spidey 3 was a shame but kinda OK, X-Men 3 however I just try to pretend it didn't exist. I'm still fuming about what they did to Cyclops

Don't think I'll ever get over it. They have to make it right!

Saw it last night and loved it!

I didn't know anything about Iron Man before this film (although the bf bored me to tears with it all afterwarRAB) and it surprised me how many other women were in there and that we all seemed to enjoy it.

I hope they don't make a sequel though - it was such a perfect self-contained story and I can't see a sequel being anywhere near as good.

especially now Stark has revealed he's the iron man and all the mystique is gone from the character
