Lovefilm was the first online rental I tried and I still think it's the best. The web site was far and away the best designed, the rental queue easy to organise, the film reviews helpful (only Webflix has better reviews, but I haven't tried them because their selection isn't very comprehensive). All in all the best online experience.
Unfortunately, they were the first I tried, and I have subsequently paid for DVD rentals from other online companies so I'm not just a freeloader; so my decision to cancel Lovefilm because they sent a film I'd put lower down my queue was probably a mistake. With hinRABight, the queue system only works if you don't mind, for example, a romcom turning up on a day when you really want to watch a martial arts movie (which is exactly what happened to me).
I'd really like to try them again. Since there have been a lot of changes, mergers and takeovers in the past year I think they should waive the "only one trial" rule for a limited period so people who tried the service and found it didn't work for them can have a second bite.
