I Demand My Money Back!! The Worst Films You've Ever Had To Sit Through

Lord of the rings (the first one, used to put it on of a sunday night to send me asleep for school!)

i went to see the last harry potter at the FACT in liverpool which has a bar, the film was awful, the beer from the bar was good so i got pissed and fell asleep haha

King Kong. 3 hours of crap special effects and Naomi Watts' winsome teeth.

Sin City. Great effects. blah story and acting.

Sex Lies and Videotape. Bore-dah!!

Lost in Translation. I fell asleep.

And I'm very easily entertained!

Actually, I hated The Royal Tenenbaums too, what a smug piece of crap that was.

And has anyone here seen Happiness? Don't be fooled by the title or the cheerful, quirky cover - possibly one of the most depressing films I've ever seen.

You see, I'm the same. I can take a 'bad film' for what it is - a bad film, no harm done. My problems start when you get 'bad films' getting undeservedly huge budgets, wall-to-wall promotion, and grease palmed critics ramming it down out throats.

Epic Movie.... hanRAB down nothing comes bloody close to being that bad for me. WinRAB me up thinking about it. By the time Date Movie rolled around (which is also one of the worst films) that entire franchise was past it, it peaked at Scary Movie 2 for me but then it just got stupid.

That reminRAB me of his hysterical TV performance as King 'Enery VIII. I was waiting for him to say: Cor, that Anne Boleyn's a bit of all right. I fink I'll give 'er one!:D

Worst one I've sat through in a while was when they aired Lady in the Water on TV a few weeks ago. I already knew everyone hated it, but I was willing to give it a fair hearing since I enjoyed both Signs and The Village. Urgh, it was dreadful. I didn't even make it to the end. Tedious, self-indulgent twaddle.

Oh, and I recently saw The X-Files: I Want to Believe as well. What a disappointment that was.

A film called "In America"

It scored really highly on IMDB but was the biggest steaming pile of shite I have ever had the misfortune of going to the cinema to see. I thought it may have just been a chick flick. but on the way out my wife commented along the same lines.

I thought Casino Royale was brilliant. I had been put off the franchise by the most recent Bond films, and Casino Royale happened just at the right time for me. Octopussy was on about a month ago, and after watching Casino Royale, I have to say that some of the old Bond films really were shite. Austin Powers couldn't fault Casino Royale.

I watched it on DVD for free, didn't manage to make it to the end and still feel cheated that I wasted time on it. I quite liked the first Transformers film for what it was but the sequel was one of the worst films I've ever seen. For all the action, it was just so dull.

I won't be watching the third installment.
