I Demand My Money Back!! The Worst Films You've Ever Had To Sit Through

I will absolutely NOT go to see it, but the forthcoming 'Disaster Movie' looks atrocious. The trailer is a laugh free zone (I didn't hear a single laugh in the cinema today when the trailer was played), and it seems like it has been created by a 5 year old with a disturbing fascination with fart jokes. These movies are a crime against cinema. I mean what's the point spoofing 'Hancock'? It was a comedy in the first place...

Duplicity-so boring i was even thinking of stopping watching it!

Year one...painfully unfunny

Sherlock holmes....i actually did only watch half of it!

transformers 2...yes i know-what was i thinking! but thank god for megan fox!

I've returned to add more lol :D

Click - just not funny at all

Scary Movie 2 - The worst one of the franchise, crap plot and just unfunny

Raising Cain - There's part of my life I'll never get back!

I guess i just didnt get the 'humour' and i laugh at most things, it also felt so slow to me, interms of pace. Gave up on it halfway through :(. I found it wooden, meh.

I'm the opposite. I wanted to watch it because it had a fantastic all star cast, but I have no idea why I liked it. Most people I have suggested the film to don't like it. The people that do like it, myself included, happen to be on media courses at uni...perhaps that's why

I agree with some of your list, but these, I don't.

Mr & Mrs Smith - sure, it could have been a hell of a lot better, but for a mindless action movie, it was a good hour and a half of escapism.

Moulin Rouge - well, I can't be objective about this one, because it's one of my favourite movies of all time. What didn't you like about it? Although I suppose it's not really aimed at a straight male audience :p.

Brokeback Mountain - again, not really a straight male audience, but it was a good love story (although I have to admit I thought it was a tad overrated and everything was blown out of proportions because it was about a gay relationship)

Hot Fuzz - was hilarious, some parts had me in hysterics in the cinema. Much better than Shaun Of The Dead in my opinion.

Mamma Mia - again with the straight male audience target, but i've seen it with guys and girls of all ages and all of them have loved it. Light, fluffy fun and most definately not one of the worst films ever (infact it's also in my favourites list lol)

The Dark Knight - you didn't like this because of Heath Ledger? I hardly think that's fair, to hate an ensemble movie, when you dislike one of the actors (who gives his defining performance in it).

The Lion King - One word. Amazing. :p

Most of the films you seem to dislike seem to be chick flicks and comedys...I sense you're a man set in your ways about the type of humour you appreciate.

I'm all for people being entitled to an opinion, but REALLY?

Those are two of the most original and thought provoking screenplays of the last ten years.

Inception's curent IMDB rating makes it the third best film of all time (sure, that'll level out a bit but it's going to stay in the top ten), while ESotSM is 60th, not bad for a quirky and massively confusing indie flick (albeit with MASSIVE stars).

I'd be interested to hear what you thought of films like Avatar and Transformers, now THEY bored me sh**less.

I have seen plenty of crap on the small screen but I'll stick to the big screen disappointments.

I have four which come to mind. The first was a film with Kylie Minogue in it, I saw it in the cinema about 20 years ago, it was the one that had that "tears on my pillow" song on it. I can't remember the title.

Thankfully some of the laRAB who were in there with us got us all thrown out for mucking about. For some reason all the other girls thought it was a great movie. It was shockingly dull.

Another was Fortress. A very very bad movie that didn't so much end, rather, it just stopped. Most bizarre. That french bloke is a really bad actor.

Yeah, my other choice of crap movie is Vanilla Sky. I must just be so unintelligent (despite all other evidence to the contrary:rolleyes:) that I didn't appreciate it. I actually couldn't give a toss about a lack of action or violence blah blah blah. I just prefer not to leave a movie wishing I hadn't just wasted 2 hours of my life on what was clearly a director's indulgence, bought into by some supposedly talented actors.

The other choice is another TC movie - Minority Report. Shame because it had the potential to be a good movie. I thought it was quite a good plot - shame about the script and the acting.

It was after seeing those two, I decided just to avoid anything else with Tom Cruise in it.

Yep, it was your typical sugary Spielberg shite. God I hate Spielberg films these days - which reminRAB me, another stinker - War of The WorlRAB. OMG, what a crock.
