Hot Fuzz

Saw it on Saturday. Enjoyed it enormously, would recommend it whoelheartedly to anyone who knows and loves cinema. The only reservation would be that where I saw it (a toilet in Hammersmith) the sound was oppressively loud.

Oh, and what on earth was that trailer about? The one that seems to be for a remake of Rear Window and The Girl Next Door in the same film?

Ok, condemn me if you like, but Shaun of the Dead was just...ok for me. Different, but ok.

LOVED, simply LOVED Hot Fuzz, laughed my socks off. A whole, heck of lot more my cup of tea! The entire audience was in stitches. Fabulous!

Watched it last night, and havent laughed that much at a movie in ages!! Absolutely brilliant!! Loved the women police officer who just made sexual inuendos the whole time!!! lol

in the background at the fair when

she has her arm round 2 other guys and theyre standing looking at the spit roast and she says "oooh maybe after a couple more drinks!! hehe!"

CLASSIC!!

Better than SotD?!! dont be ridiculous! really want to see this but as a hugely pregnant woman, the cinema is just too uncomfy for me now so will have to wait till its on DVD booo

Wonder if anyone noticed the "cameo" by the Shaun of the Dead DVD ??.

When Nick Frost was looking at the cheap DVD in the supermarket, and he chucked it back in the bargain bin, if you looked closely, you could see a blurred copy of the SOTD DVD already there - it was easy to spot because of the distinctive red cover.

Yeah isnt that the film he has done with David Swimmer. I saw Hot Fuzz last week and loved it. I thought it was better than Shaun Of The Dead. I was readng about two cameos in Hot Fuzz that some people may not have noticed. Hot Fuzz is easily the best film of the year so far!

It wasn't an exact copy of the SOTD dvd, the title on it said "Zombie Party" (/pedant).

Anyway, I think that at least Hot Fuzz had an excellent final act that beats SotD's. The final part of SotD got quite serious in tone, imho.

The film he's done with David Schwimmer is called Run, Fatboy, Run, and is about a guy who risks losing his ideal woman and takes up marathon running, or something. It also stars Thandie Newton.

The London Paper reported that the heavily-forensic uniformed actress playing the part of Simon Pegg's character's ex-girlfriend is more famous than anyone else combined in the film, and they speculated that, on close inspection, it may have Cate Blanchett.

Does anyone know what certification this films got?? My son wants to go to see it with some of his frienRAB after his 13th birthday?? I'd be with them too if that makes any difference to whether they'd be allowed in to see it or not.

Its a 15. Not really suitable for children. Contains some infrequent but strong swearing (including the c word) and some particularly strong/violent gore.
