Hot Fuzz

I liked the film. I wouldn't say its better or worse then Shaun of the Dead. I'd just say its different. I thought the start of the film was a little slow but made up for by the mad action finale. Had its funny moments and also some boring ones. I still like it and will watch it again.
 
I saw this yesterday and have to say this is a fantastic film, I just want to go back and watch it again!
SOTD is one of my favourite films, but I agree this is better and I didn't think that was possible. It is also one of the few films where I have looked forward to it so much, not to be disappointed. The last 30 minutes where the film goes full throttle are particularly good.
Great story, great actors and fantastically done, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Really enjoyed it, thought it was excellent. Couldn't stop laughing.

Personally, I didn't think it was *quite* as good as Shaun of the Dead. But very close, and it's certainly lept straight up onto the list of my favourite films.

I'm a huge Spaced fan, and I'm glad to see that these guys still can't put a foot wrong.

I went to see this on Tuesday night and thought it was great.
I love SotD and think this is just as good. Am looking forward to "Run Fatboy Run" as well.

Stepehen Merchant in it as well! Well, it is west country I suppose, so you'd have to really.

And we get it a full three weeks before the yanks! Rock on.
 
it was a very good film, i found it hilarious! The flying kick to the grannys
face was just a classic!

Its also really well directed. The short clips with the soud effects between scenes are just brilliant. Like when you get an extreme close up an a wooshing sound effect, its just brilliant.
 
Managed to see it last night in Putney. Laughed so bloody hard...my sides and throat hurt after emerging from the cinema. SotD really does pale in comparison to this. It was a great movie, but Fuzz is fantastic.

Really loved the Shaun references, not to mention the Spaced-alike scene later on. And I'm thinking of using the 'swear box' sight gag at work :D
 
Just got back from seeing it.

Excellent. Not quite as uber-brilliant as SotD but still excellent especially when it stepped up several gears after the gentle first half and became much darker

Definitely a film which neeRAB several viewings to catch those references and cameos I may have missed.
 
lol that looks great! I did not know so many people were in it(Stepehen Merchant to name one) It looks better than SHOD! :O It looks so great.
 
Saw it yesterday and thought it was brilliant. I think overall it's better than Shaun of the Dead, mostly because of the ending, which kept building up more and more, unlike in SOTD, where it sort of tapered off. Having said that, it did seem like it was ending and then something else came along, like in Return of the King. Other than that, very good.

I'm wondering if Pegg, Frost and Wright have a third type of film up their sleeves. Science fiction maybe? Not sure what else they can do...
 
this is an excellent movie, saw it last night, managed to get some of the last tickets, all screenings were sold out by time i entered screen.

laughed from start to finish a good follow up to shaun, Nick frost really shone through more in this than shaun i think which i no way is a bad thing at all, bloody funny film and bloody great cast too :D :D
