Yeah, one of them I definately spotted:

Cate Blanchett, playing the ex-girlfriend at the start. You just see her eyes. :)

And the other one, I didn't see myself but is apparently:

Peter Jackson, in the Santa suit also near the start.

Guess I'll have to go back and watch it again to spot the second one, what a shame. :D
 
Just back from seeing this and came to the film forum especially to see if there was a thread, just so I can say how stupendously good the film was, and how everyone MUST see it.

Utter genius! :D
 
I saw it yesterday. Havent seen Shaun Of The Dead but I really enjoyed this one... the comedy was non stop and the gore typically ott. Fab film for a Sunday afternoon.
 
Absolutely hilarious movie, from start to finish. Loved it!
And how funny is it to see Frank Gallagher from Shameless in a completely opposite role? :D
 
Saw it yesterday.

Miles better than Shaun of the Dead, which, while engaging, I didn't find laugh out loud funny. One other thing: I might be getting old, but the visual and audio effects were hard-going and I actually have a headache this morning!!

But there's a cracking cast with Jim Broadbent, Timothy Dalton and Edward Woodward particularly on cracking form. Plus David Threlfall, who my companion thought was a made-up Eric Idle ???

The trailer for 'I Want Candy' looks promising as well. Blimey? British comic films that look promising. Whatever next?
 
Just watched this last night and I've got to say I think this will be the film of the year for me.

I'm going to watch it again next week once the crowRAB start to die because I had to sit right right at the front - I could nearly touch the screen and it hurt my eyes to some tune. But still enjoyed every minute of it.
