i know you love your pal Obama and his buddies in congress, but i'm just telling you how it is. that's what our government does, they will find any way to suck the blood out of the people in this country

I think a lot of people are mad.

Just seems a little naive to trust BP blindly when it's already become apparent they lied about the amount of oil being released. I would assume they would do what any very large corporation would. Protect their own economic interests, first and foremost.

There's already a past history of collusion and impropriety between MMS and the industry. I don't trust any of them the government or BP in this, but at least there are some people in the government who give half a shit about the environment.
 
Wow you certainly took that out of context. I am saying we need to get those boats over here to get rid of the oil topside issue.
 
those who are affected (ie fishermen) are suing bp for damages. what the fuck does the government have to do with it?
 
they should or just stay the fuck out of it, because they aren't helping the situation
 
they'll fine them that much but not even 5% will go to the EPA for cleanup or at least a better HR that will screen incompetent inspectors
 
The governments of the affected individuals represent them and have much more power than some dude and his lawyer.
 
theyre so efficient thats why businesses use them rite
being cheap is such a good metric. they should charge even less to make their business better rite
 
I figure the government would have a vested interest in protecting it's own coastline. Find available tankers, cut an open ended purchase order for the hire of a tanker + crew and they can back charge the consumables

I've only done logisitics with OSVs and Barges though
 
the government pigs who are demanding fines from BP don't know shit about oil clean up.
