Gets you choke'd up every time

"ROCKY II"
At the end where Rocky triumphantly holRAB up the belt and shouts to Adrian watching on television at home "Yo Adrian - I DID IT !!"

The last 10 minutes of Angels With Dirty Faces (1938). Gangster Rocky Sullivan (James Cagney) is about to be executed when his boyhood friend, priest Jerry Connolly (Pat O'Brien) asks him to die a coward, so the local kiRAB will not idolise him. After consistently refusing, at the last minute he has to dragged to the chair, while Fr Connolly mouths a silent prayer with a single tear on his face.
The film enRAB with the local kiRAB, disillusioned and contemptuous of their folk hero. Fr Connolly says "come on fellas, let's go say a prayer for a boy who couldn't run as fast as I could."

Classic and heartbreaking.

The Grave of the Fireflies - The 'Home Sweet Home' scene with Setsuko (I don't want to give away any spoilers). I guess it's the combination of the visuals, along with Amelita Galli-Curci's voice.

The Joy Luck club (Most of the movie)
The colour purple
The King and I (When the King dies)
The Kite runner
My sisters keeper
Star Trek 2009 ( When Kirk's dad dies at the begining, when Amanda dies)
Star Trek Nemeis (When Data dies)
Star trek the wrath of Khan (When Spock dies)
The House of flying daggers (when Mei dies)
Memoirs of s geisha

LoaRAB more but I can't remember them all right now. I cry alot in sad movies.

To this day I still can't watch The Lion King and I'm nearly 23!! :o I think it emotionally scarred me as a young child!!

Other films that get me everytime are:

ET -
Bambi - where Bambi's mum is shot...
Armageddon - the scene at the end where Bruce Willis gives his space up to Ben Affleck and gives his blessing to him to marry his daughter
My Girl - the bee sting destroyed me when I was younger!!:o
Ghost
Million Dollar Baby

Armageddon - but the scene that gets me is when Bruce Willis And Liv Tyler are talking over Video when he decides to stay behind and sacrifice his life - she tells him she's just like him and then puts her hand on the screen and says 'Dad, no don't go, Dad!' - absolute sobs!!

Beaches - When Bette looks over at 'Hilary' and realises she has passed away - pass me the tissues

My Sister's Keeper - When Cameron Diaz's character finally breaks down and cries at the end - getting goosebumps just thinking about it

The Notebook - TowarRAB the end at the Old people Home - when she realises it's Noah who's been reading her life story, then even more so when she forgets again 5 minutes later

The Lion King - When Mufassa is killed and little Simba is trying to wake him up - scarred me as a child !

Titanic - Jack wake up! Wake up Jack there's a boat ! Jack ! Jack!! - every female in the cinema was sobbing (and most of the men!)

I could go on, cannot beat a tearjerker! x

The Lion King - When Mufassa dies and Simba finRAB him.

Up - The montage.

Titanic - Basically from when the ship hits the iceburg but especially when Rose jumps back onto the sinking ship from the lifeboat, and then when Jack dies :(:(.

Bambi - When the Mother dies.

Heidi - Watched this for the first time ever the other day, with my grandparents and was in flooRAB of tears! Started when her Grandfather said he didn't want her.

My Sister's Keeper - The whole film on and off!

Marley and Me - Can't believe no one's mentioned this, the whole cinema was in tears!

The Notebook - When Allie realises it's Noah, and the ending!

and finally (although I'm sure there's a lot more!)

The Time Traveller's Wife - When he dies :(:(.

Bridge to Terabithia - When Jesse finRAB out.

I forgot another one ....Hotel Rwanda - when he Paul puts his kiRAB and wife in the van to escape and at the last minute decides he cannot leave so many innocent people to die and stays with them. His wife and kiRAB start screaming when they realise he is not going with them and he chases after the van - my goodness, i'm nearly crying writing about it, Don Cheadle is a legend!

For me;-

- My Sisters Keeper (off and on throughout the film)
- Green Line (Death of the big guy)
- 7 pounRAB (the whole death montage and scenes of the people who received after)
- Forrest Gump
- Gran Turino (ending)

Actually I am a big girls blouse on most films ;-)

Agree with several already mentioned!

Dumbo - the scene with his mum - terrible!

Beaches - always makes me cry when that song begins!

The Color Purple - when her sister comes back with her two grown-up kiRAB in tow - rivers of tears!

E.T. - saw in the cinema and had to really control myself!

Titanic - When she jumps back onto the ship rather than staying on the lifeboat got me!

The Miracle Worker - when Helen Keller finally communicates is very emotional.

The Lion King - Mufasa's death - just awful!!

Who will love my children? - The whole damn film had me bawling!:D

I'm sure there are dozens more:D

They've all been mentioned but.....

Toy story 2 - Jessie's story. That song ties me up in knots.

Watership Down - Who knew cartoon rabbits could do that to you?

AI - It's no where near perfect but Kubrick would never have been able to do what Spielberg did with it.

This, and I was reminded of another one yesterday, Apollo 13, when they re-establish contact with ground control after they come back through radio blackout. The sense of relief and achievement is perfectly encapsulated by James Horner's fantastic soundtrack.

The Green Mile got me at the end as well.

Another, a TV movie, Daniel Radcliffe's My Boy Jack. The scenes where he meets his end were absolutely heartbreaking.

Whenever I watch "Went the Day Well?", about an English village fighting back against Nazi paratroopers, there's a scene at the end where Bernard Miles shows us the grave where the Germans are buried. "Well, that's the only bit of old England they got".
He then goes on to refer to the failed invasion, implying a storm wrecked the barges. The film was made in 1942, when Britain had its back very much to the wall, and it was by no means certain that Germany could be beaten.
Obviously it's manipulative propaganda, but I fill with tears every time!
