Gets you choke'd up every time

The scene with Forrest by the tree where Jenny's buried is very sad, and really well acted by Hanks.

I'd have to for The Muppet Christmas Carol. The scene where Michael Caine's taken to the future, and you see Tiny Tim's little cap and cane by the side of the fireplace, with Miss Piggy crying while she's cooking in the kitchen. Kermit then arrives home and tells Piggy about his visit to see Tim. :( I'm welling up now. This is no good at all.

The scene in Starman when Jeff Bridges alien brings the dead deer to life...the music swells up, the deer looks up at him, and then bounRAB off into the distance to freedom...

The ending of Planes, Trains and Automobiles, where John Candy goes to Steve Martin's house and feels the love of family his family...the expression on his face is one of both sadness and yet great joy at the same time...

Bridge to Terabithia (bit where Jess comes home to find out....)
My Sisters Keeper (The whole film!)
Elephant Man (The line "My mother must have be so disappointed in me" gets me every time).
Schindlers List (Several scenes)
Martian Child (Too many scenes to remember!)
E.T. (who doesn't!)
Pay it Forward (last 15 minutes)
Simon Birch
The Mighty
The Cure

Those are just a few, and yes I am male and have no problem admitting it... I'm a HUGE sook when it comes to soppy films!)

Even reading some of the replies is choking me up. I picked some unusual ones, but good films that i'd reccommend to everyone.

Monsters Inc - When Sully is putting Boo back in her room and she's showing him all her toys.

Speak - When you realise how Melinda suffered in silence and everyone was so oblivious of her troubles.

Thirteen - When Tracy breaks down and lets her mum hold her.

A Little Princess - Sara screaming at her father to recognise her.

Watership Down

Bright eyes
Burning like fire
Bright eyes
How can you close and fail?
How can the light that burned so brightly
Suddenly burn so pale?
Bright eyes

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:

OMG Watership Down, when Frith comes. So sad.
Green Mile, goes without saying.
Brief Encounter, 'this misery can't last', along with Rachmaninoff.
Gone With The Wind 'as god is my witness I'll never be hungry again.....'

Two speeches in The Wrestler:
" I just want to tell you, I'm the one who was supposed to take care of everything. I'm the one who was supposed to make everything okay for everybody. It just didn't work out like that. And I left. I left you. You never did anything wrong. I used to try to forget about you. I used to try to pretend that you didn't exist, but I can't. You're my girl. You're my little girl. And now, I'm an old broken down piece of meat... and I'm alone. And I deserve to be all alone. I just don't want you to hate me."

and

"When you live hard and you play hard and burn the candle at both enRAB... in this life, you can lose everything you love, everything that loves you. Alot of people told me that I'd never wrestle again, they said "he's washed up", "he's finished" , "he's a loser", "he's all through". You know what? The only ones gonna tell me when I'm through doing my thing, is you people here. You people here... you people here. You're my family. "

Just reading this thread has got me in tears!:o

For me:
Monsters Inc when Sully puts the last bit in the door that Mike saved for him and walks into Boo's room and she says 'Kitty!' and his face just lights up

Green Mile from the moment John Coffey says (when asked by Tom Hanks if there is anything he neeRAB) 'please leave the light on cos i'm afraid of the dark' right through until the end of the film - and when John gets the electric chair and the guarRAB are in tears because they know what kind of a man he is, but they have to try and hide it out of respect for the victims family I am literally sobbing!

Dumbo, yes the 'Baby Mine' bit, every frikkin time

The Snowman - at the end where the boy finRAB the melted snowman and drops the scarf onto it, every frikkin time

Forrest Gump - the bit with Forrest speaking to Jenny at her graveside and also the bit where he first meets his son and he asks if he's smart or like him (Forrest) always makes me sob!

The Little Mermaid when Ariel says 'I love you Daddy' at the end

The Lion King when Simba climbs Pride Rock in the rain, with the music that is playing and then he roars :o

Hercules (Disney) when one of the GoRAB makes an image of Hercules in the stars and someone says 'that's Phils boy!' and he wells up (cos that what his dream was earlier in the film)

Most Disney films really!!!!

Lots of them
Shawshank Redemption where Miggs (probably have name wrong) hangs himself
Sophie's Choice old Meryl Streep film (very sad)
Mamma Mia where Donna is getting Sophie ready for her wedding
Up 1st bit where his wife dies, took the kiRAB to see it and embarrassed them by needing to leave the cinema for tissues :o

even the trailler for Toy Story 3 made me cry

The end of LotR Return of the King. It's increadibly emotional and as the 'end' lasts about 30 minutes I'm totally drained by the end. I watched it again last month for the umpteenth time and it still gets me blubbing like a baby. Annie Lennox's excellent song 'Into the West' during the closing credits doesn't help. I've got it on my MP3 player and it gets me going every time I listen to it.

Shawshank Redemption - when they meet on the beach at the end
Beaches - the ending, I cry whenever I hear Wind Beneath my wings
The Color Purple - I blub like a baby, poor Celie
Schindlers list - the final bit where the families put rocks on his grave
Lilo and Stitch 2 - The bit where you think Stitch is dead
Bicentenial Man - A lovely lovely film that gets me everytime
Up - I blubbed through out the whole film
ET - Well it's ET, everyone cries at ET
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - "I want to tell you with my last breath that I have always loved you. I would rather be a ghost, drifting by your side as a condemned soul, than enter heaven without you. Because of your love, I will never be a lonely spirit"
