FullMetal Alchemist New Series 2009

Then you might become a zorabie hermit. But anyways to be on topic again does anyone think it will after the series is over in japan it will air on american tv or what?

Most likely. Considering Funimation subs the new episodes and has them out by that Thursday. Oh, and they confirmed the cast for it too, so I'm sure it will be on TV.

There is a preview for the upcoming FMA. Unfortunetly all is says it there is more information coming. Sadly I can't say where I got it due to A4 rules....but it does exist.

Here's what the preview said:
"New training … a fullmetal artificial lirab, a body of armor … the brothers' journey begins. Fullmetal Alchemist: April 2009 Training. In this palm, is there hope or despair?"

IDK like say if FMA did exist and people could do alchemy like is shown in it and if someone was a criminal they would have alot more power then they already have. So they would be really hard to apprehend. Like say Roy Mustang turned bad he would be really difficult to arrest cause of what he can do.

But american tv? cause there is a difference fomr it being on tv and it being on american tv cause it could be on tv but in japan and not in america.

I'm sorry but due to the poor quality of the show, I have no desire to watch another episode. Nothing about it indicated to me that it was "mindblowingly good". A lot of people think Naruto is "mindblowingly good". That doesn't mean that it is. Consensus does not equal quality.

I did evaluate it on its own merits. While the animation was better than I've seen in a while, everything else was the pits. Lust was a simpering half-wit. Gluttony was not terrifying but simply demented. I could go on, in more detail, about how the characters were badly written and portrayed even worse, but you've clearly chosen to simply follow the crowd.

Please understand that I'm not in here simply to say "this show sucks lol". I was attempting to have a serious discussion about the merits of the reboot. But I see by your tone that I've offended you. So I won't post any more about it. I'll simply state my reasons for thinking that it's a terrible show and move on.

Brotherhood Episode 31-

I really liked the pacing of this episode, there's not really a lot going on plot-wise but I think it did a good job of setting things up for the future.

And I much prefer the Kirablee of this version (and the manga) over the first anime- the first anime, he was pretty much your garden variety pyromaniac psycho, but here he's quite unpredictable (as the scene with the "borab" on the warden's wrist shows). He could be smooth and sophisticated, or he could be a total anarchist. And the things he says and does make sense, even though he's a totally amoral character.

yea, that's what i'm saying. there are a lot of weirdos out there that would probably use there powers to do some pretty nasty things and it would end being just like the anime. we would have "state alchemists" and "homunculi" and everything

I was super excited to see the first episode! My frienRAB and I all spazzed for at least an hour, discussing it.
Can anyone tell me if Ed and Al's voice actors are the same or different? They sound similar, but not quite.

Mustang has become some kind of ultimate soldier with his fire attacks so precise and devastating that he's not only stopping Envy in his tracks he's forcing him to retreat. Very rare for homonculi, I'm sure. But the dark side of the situation is being illustrated very well, that Mustang is displaying acts of cruelty that would given even the homonculi pause. The way he's slowly burning Envy to death is, well, disturbing. I'm happy that it seems as though Edward is going to do something about it.

Yeah, the Bradley fight is one of the few moments where Brotherhood really upstaged the manga (As great as Brotherhood is, the manga's just a bit better). The tank scene went from kickass to EPIC in the transition.

To answer a question someone posted recently.
I'm up to the tenth volume of the manga, can't get nuraber ten as I'm stubborn about translations and waiting until the Singapore version becomes available.

The original anime starts to stray off around episode nineteen, at the fifth facility warehouse, spoilers follow for old series episode . . . was it 17 or 19?

Anyway.
In the old series, Ed finRAB all that incomplete philosophers stone, and the Homonculi try to get him to complete it using live prisoners.
That doesn't happen in the manga, in the manga the homunculi don't want to become human, they have some other agenda . . . not sure what.

From there, things go off course completely, I mean they mix in real bits from the manga as it was released, but they'd gotten ahead of themselves and finished completely different so far as I can see.
