FullMetal Alchemist New Series 2009

But like if you don't think of the negatice thing about if FMA alchemy existed that about the positive like a person could conjure up a shield for protection in a situation that it may need to have one. Or they could conjure up shelter so they have a place to live in.

I like how Bones can't tell the difference between left and right and felt the need to have the priest turn into a super human for no reason at all, breaking from the manga marginally.

Otherwise it was fine.

As I said before, since they're supposedly staying true to the manga plot this time around there's a lot to content to put in.

haw haw haw ^^ i wondeeerrrr~~

naw, i won't spoil ^^ but i look forward to watching it. unfortunately school is giving me a crapload of homework and now i have no free time. litteraly. 2-11 is doing hw, and by the time im done im exausted. i feel like it's 12 even if it's only eight. oh well. i bet some people have it worse.

Personally I loved episode 30, I haven't read the manga but I think they got the point across in that one episode about how bad the Ishbal war was and how much it weighed down on people like Armstrong, Hawkeye, Roy and Hughes.
You could easily tell from the episode who loved war and who hated it, infact it was a slaughter not a war, even when they tried to end it with the leader handing himself over it continued, I thought the msg in this episode hit right where it was suppose too.

Yeah and I hadn't received any complaints before so I didn't think it was a problem either. But it is. I'm not trying to be mean or ruin the thread, it isn't so hard to add [blackout] around the more major spoilers is it? :/ I mean, at least maybe spoiler stuff from the current weeks episode until the next episode airs. After that, I guess it's okay, but I'm just trying to be considerate.

I didn't think it was off at all. Comparing the manga and original anime you can see that Ed is more comical and less angst. i agree that Roy was off a bit near the end. But you can't judge a series that barely started, especially judging by a filler episode.

So the remake that was supposed to stick strictly to the manga started off with a filler episode it was great filler to be honest but still filler at that.

It has gone on for years, but it's a monthly series, not weekly.

The manga's going to end within a few chapters. The way it's going, I'd be very surprised if Brotherhood has -that- many more episodes than the first anime (maybe a total of 50- 60 episodes tops)

I really suggest picking up the manga at some point too. IMO, it's better than Brotherhood or the first anime.

The new series is moving at a fast pace but much of the original series early episodes followed the Manga as well so it would just be recreation of everything. I think that the new show has done a good job with the remakes. I personally never read the manga so I am looking forward to seeing what will happen.

You have to understand that there's a hell of a lot of material to fit into this season if you're including everything that happens in the manga. There really isn't time to focus on some events but all the important stuff is being covered quite well so far, I thought. It does help to have read the manga to understand the events covered so far but that's not really a problem.

Episode 57: Holy **** is all I can say. I did not expect that to happen. The part where the old dude got ****ed up was pretty sad and emotional. I got chills at that part. 6 episodes left and its looking like everyone of them is going to be action packed.

You cant just watch the first episode. It gets way better after the first 14 because its a recap. (I think its 14. D: )
:/ I would watch the first 26 and then make my opinion. The story is way different from the original.

Hope you try it out.

Nice plan they all had to pull on Envy in ep 43, I didn't see it coming, I thought Zampano was really betraying them, the trick they pulled on Envy saying it was mines was funny, but not as funny as when he was reduced to a parasite with Yoki flicking him

They can tell left from right. When Ed's automail arm showed up on the wrong side, it was a mirror reflection in Rose's eyes. Watch the scene again.

Didn't mind the priest going hulk tbh, it worked as a nice little action scene since the episode was kinda dialogue heavy.

Looking forward to Tucker/Nina next ep, so sad. ;o;
