Films that make you cry

Aw Val you're funny! And as for Laura and others - I haven't seen these movies - was just listening to Pearl Harbour tune on piano though. What's it about and have any of you seen Powder?

Good Will Hunting is a great shout....the "It's not your fault" scene.

Also Field of Dreams...when he meets his dad at the end.

Oh go on then, Ghost as well.....even more so now that he's really gone....RIP.

Silent Running, when Hughie [ I think ] gets run over, and especially the end bit when the bio-sphere is released into eternal space with Hughie [ I think ] tending to the plants and trees.

It's rare for me to cry while watching a film but a recent viewing of 'Martyrs' reduced me to tears. The relentless violence and utter hopelessness of the main character was painful to watch.

I stuck with it until the end, hoping for an outcome that would at least attempt to explain the reasoning behind the ordeal. I found the ending unconvincing and I felt the director had no real justification for making the film.

PSML :D:D:D

The Sixth Sense
Schindler's List
Meet Joe Black

3 that stick in my mind make me weep, doesn't matter how many times I see them.
