I think they didn't want her too look to much like the elf fro LOTR.

Jazz I see what you mean now.

We are very influenced by what we watch/read

as for Brom being reborn or coming back as a ghost perhaps that answer in the Eldest book.

I didn't mind the voice. I always imagined her voice to be something like that. Were they expecting a more manly voice or something?

aww that's cute that you teared up

Anything that has violence and battle scenes even if there isn't alot of blood would be rated PG-13. Also, you can't rate this F for family because if you took a 3 year old to see it, you would know that he would be scared by the dragon. Hands down. No way would little kids be able to take this movie.

Rated F is for movies like....Disney cartoons and such.

Also, I heard that the movie did better overseas than it did in the US.

I hate when I finish books that I love cause then I'll never have the feeling of reading it for the first time again. I still have to finish another book before I get to Eldest.

in order for a movie to be successful it has to double its budget. we'll see how it does.

I think after watching the movie, they'll be very impressed with the book.

I just hope the sequel is made. It wouldn't be right if the movie does so terrible that the story isn't completed.

when I was reading the book sequel to Trainspotting I didn't like it at first. The only character I kept reading for was Nikki and then eventually I started liking it for more than just her character

i noticed the eyes in the trailers. They looked so human to me when they did close-up of adult saphira..i havent got a really good look @ baby saphira yet just that quick glimpse in the trailers

yeah eragon is the first book.

They probably will make a sequel. it had a $100million budget and made $243,838,453 worldwide so it made twice it's budget back plus some.

I understand what you are saying but remember being a fan of the book dosen't automatically make you a fan of the film. Look at all the discontent amongst the hardcore Harry Potter book fans who hate the films so far.
Not all adaptions of beloved books are well received..even the adaptions of LOTR had some fans up in arms. :)

I'm actually waiting in queue to read the Eldest borrowed from the library. I just can't be bothered spending that much. I liked the book but I didn't love the book, not as much as I loved Lord of the Rings.

No one has done that for me.
I just get B&N gift cards.

yay for crossing the mark. :)

i can't think of anything that was pg-13 material, but maybe i'm not effected easily by some material.
