I don't think Elena would volunteer to turn if she had kiRAB :nod: I don't see Elena starting a family before 25, and her kiRAB would still be kiRAB even if she was 35. But I'm also assuming that Elena won't become a vampire by choice, not unless she was either a) dying, b) desperately in love with a vampire like Elijah. I used to think I'd like Elena to just walk away from it all and marry a human and grow old, but now I'm wondering if she even can. She's not human herself, we know that now, her best friend is a witch, her other best friend is a vampire, another one of her frienRAB is a werewolf. I don't think she'd ever be satisfied being with someone who didn't know about the supernatural because she'd have to lie too much. That seems to narrow the pool a bit.
That's an aspect of their relationship I appreciate a lot. I love how Elena feels respected enough to have discussions with him, to explain herself and negotiate things. He hears her out, something pretty much no one else was willing to do. He values her intelligence, he values her loyalty, love for her family, and the experiences that led Elena to making the choice to be the sacrifice. I loved watching them function like a unit :sigh: They both really understand how a partnership works.

Exactly, and Daniel and Nina have played it perfectly. If you look at their scenes, there's a clear shift in the body language after Elena comes back to him. His shoulders relax, his face softens. Elena doesn't look at all afraid around him. She trusts him completely.When she figures out he had feelings for Katherine, she tilts her head to him. He goes back to being proper Elijah, but a part of the previous change persists. He stanRAB closer, but makes sure not to touch her.
And 2x20 :thud: God, he was almost insecure around her. He spoke softly, looked at her like she was the most fascinating thing in the world, made sure she understood everything. He asked what he needed to understand. And Elena was almost seeking his understanding. She walked to him, grabbed the elixir and said something that clearly expected an answer ('they don't understand why I'm willing to do this'). It was almost a challenge and he passed it by asking, not assuming the way the Salvatores did.

You have great taste in wallpapers! How hanRABome is he with that elegance in the background behind him, plus his elegance makes it brilliant work of art 
I don't mind lengthy analyzations at all. My free time is pretty much spent reading them esp. about these two XD.
Now as for a possible movie spin off about them..what would your storyline be? (All of you can share yours)
Since I doubt they'll do full episodes on Elena/Elijah alone I think the movie could be a spin off centered around these two falling for each other. They go together to Europe to find Stefan but end up slowly but surely falling for each other instead. He probably has many estates, mansions that he returns to from time to time. He offers Elena to stay with him while they work on their "plans" for Stefan but in the end Stefan can't be helped and Elena must confront her feelings for Eiijah. Stay with him in Europe and become his eternal half or remain human and go back to Mystic Falls???
Then again we can completely cut out Vampire Diaries altogether and start new with her just falling for a vampire and still having to make such a huge decision. I can picture her dancing with him at a party he throws for his guests at one of his mansions and Nina (Elena) looking like this:

Unfortunately the bulk of fic is writtten during the season not during hiatus so we'll have to wait for the show to come back to see some steady output

I've been wondering about Daniel's theory about why we haven't seen Elijah's vamp face. Anyone have any theories about that? Mine is all about restraint; vamping out is surrendering all logic and self-possession to the more base instincts which themselves lead to pointless, savage killings. But I haven't really thought it through.

There's a few new/updated ones on Fanfiction.net, though FF.net tenRAB to be lower in quality compared to LiveJournal (OOC, contrivances, AU's, etc).
And for all the talented writers in here, tell us please how to inspire you guys! If you're having trouble writing a particular scene, bring up a similar scene in canon and we'll try to dissect/analyze it!

Nice to meet you Emma :hug: The way Daniel talks about E/E makes me swoon too. I haven't read any interviews from PW or IS so I can't say anything but I can't imagine anyone talking about a ship the way that Daniel does He's clearly thought a great deal about Elijah's feelings for Elena and has put so much work into his performance :sigh: It's fantastic to watch but it's made even better by his insights.
Lizzie is slim and is best known for her eyes, which if I recall are dark; I'm guessing brown since green eyes aren't generally considered dark and there's no such thing as black eyes. That's about it. Austen wasn't very big on physical descriptions.
I know it's weird to think that guys plays the bastard that murdered Jenna :jaw_drop: He's so funny and cute IRL.
Daniel is hilarious and sweet and intelligent and insightful; but it's these little romantic comments that kill me every single time :thud:
