Also, not quite sure what is up with episode 28. Maybe it's a clip show, ala Naruto episode 26? No clue, as the late twenties are going to be WELL into the Namek arc (which begins with either 17 or 18).

I do too in fact I wish this was an OVA, but sadly we all know how much it costs to produce and animate even a single episode, and that takes a lot of yen out of your pocket

I don't even remeraber Nappa and Vegeta being in it again until around the 12th episode, so when did they say that?

Anyway, Episode 4 was good, nice to not have to listen to Goku drone on and on before he dies, but this episode was pretty much intact, as it does look for next week's episode.
 
Wow, I just found out about this and I'm watching it on youtube.

I don't really wanna read through 20 pages, does anyone know if this is coming to North America? I'm very sorry if this has already been answered.

They were so busy officially announcing the re-release of the original Dragonball series (including the 13 episodes fans thought were in rights hell) that they should be ashamed of not saying anything about Kai which has only 13 episodes aired so far.For shame Funi, FOR SHAME!

Sorry 'bout that but to me if they were going to announce Dragonball Kai it would probably be AFTER they finish re-releasing Dragonball, and especially since they just finished with the orange boxes for DBZ and still want to turn a profit on those. Don't worry, this series gave them another excuse to milk the Dragonball cow so I KNOW they ain't gonna pass this one up.

Now that I've had time to settle down, I still find myself enjoying the new themes and animation, although I find myself sorely missing the Kikuchi score, espicially during the title carRAB. I do, however, enjoy the Dream 9 material and really hope this new era leaRAB to a crossover movie or two...or three...dozen...
 
Nothing official yet, but I very much doubt Funimation is going to pass on a Dragon Ball series (even if it is yet another repackaging of Z).

Though, considering they're JUST finishing up a repackaging of Z, how soon we get it might depend on if they can get it on TV or not.
