Long overdue, but well worth the wait. For the effort they obviously put into it, why the hell have they not been spreading the word about this?! I've been cautiously awaiting word on just what to expect from these sets before even considering buying them, but now I will be for sure!

Say what you will about GT but despite all the flak it gets, I personally found it to be more entertaining and make more sense than the majority of Z's Buu saga.

I'm still holding out hope that they will accept the deal when the time comes to cash in on cross-promotion for the upcoming Dragon Ball theatrical feature. Still waiting to see "Blood Rubies" uncut.

Well it's great that FUNimation is finaling giving GT a good release but I still don't really care for the series.

But on a related note... I made this.
 
No, they have dubbed it uncut (and aired an edited version on Toonami back in 2001). They have the rights to do that, but what they don't have is the rights to release the series.

What I had heard was that Lionsgate has that license to release the episodes (the old 1995 dub) until the day they go under.
 
That's just an email away, if you were to send one. Lion's Gate most probably wants money from FUNimation. Not sure why TOEI hasn't stepped in but alas Lion's Gate must have some sort of rights.
 
Well hopefully this gets resolved very soon, because I have been waiting for ALL of DB, including the 4 movies, to be digitally remastered and Uncut by FUNimation.

That's right, I haven't watched any of the DB movies and I have not seen a single episode of DB.

I have been waiting all of this time for Digitally Remastered and Uncut versions from FUNimation.

Anyways, I think we're getting off-topic, so /end off-topic convo.
 
I'm quite disappointed. I love my DBZ sets, and to not get this in WS is an insult. What is the point of having the middle of the series in WS and the others in FS????
