Dragon Ball Era favorite

Alright here is where you tell your fellow peeps what Dragon Ball era is your favorite. For example: Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z & Dragon Ball GT, so witch one are yall favorite? My favorite era is Dragon Ball GT actually.
 
i liked dragonball the best
dragonball z was decent up to the end of the frieza saga, in fact my original email was [email protected] (i still have it but i rarely check it so dont bother trying to email me on it, its more of a spam dump email these days)
but imho dragonball z in particular was disproportionately more fight then story/character progression which got old quickly

not to mention that it was really awesome when goku became super sayan, but i think that super sayan lvel 2/3/4/etc... kinda imho took the specialness of the whole concept of super sayan
correct me if i'm wrong but dbz was originally intended to end at the frieza saga, after that it seemed that they were streching to come up with stronger and stronger opponents for already ridiculously strong fighters

dont get me wrong i enjoyed dragonball/z (never saw gt)
i liked that deat was not the end of a character
i liked the characters
i liked the martial arts torunaments

i just think dragonball was better because it didnt give me the feeling of drawing at straws to fing stronger and stronger opponants to have epic battles with, more often then not it seemed in dragonball that the epicness came from the shere nuraber of opponants (eg the entire red ribbon army, rather then one super opponent (eg majin buu))
 
Dragon Ball Z was mine
GT was alright filled with some crap tho that made me mad
Dragon ball was good but, I wasn't interested
+ DBZ Had Teen Gohan OWNAGE

hehe, not far from the truth actually about dragonball z
seriously, fights just took way too long in terms of that a one on one battle taking several episodes is a bit of a strech
imho dragonball z wasnt bad per se but i saw it had potential to be a lot better then it was
 
I like DragonBall Z I think merely because thats what i grew up watching and its not really the down and gritty fact of it.. its more like the fact that i used to look forward to it and **** everyday on toonami LOL...
 
maybe but dragonball has quite a bit of action, dbz seems imho to get lost in the action and overlooks story, not to say a complete absence of story but the dbz storyline seems to be far more simple then dragonball
some people like this, and if you are one of these people there is nothing wrong with that
i personally prefer more story and less drawn out action
personally i think dbz could have had just as much action but instead of one long fight between super powerful beings it could have been some epic battle of one powerfull being against an army of powerful beings, kinda like kid goku vs the red ribon army in dragonball
