Downton Abbey - ITV1

Evening everyone, lokking forward to tonight's episode.
This last week has gone by that fast I almost forgot it was on!

O'Brian: 'All THREE of them?!?'

Anyone would think she was being asked to take care of the 5,000!

I'd rather have the nice Joanne Froggatt over the ghastly Siobhan Finneran any day.

Siobhan Finneran makes the Shortland Street cast look like Oscar-winning stars. And you complain about Joanne's acting-well every role Siobhan's had since a certain 80's film is like the same character she played in that.

Joanne has played the likes of Danielle Cable and Joanne Lees, and was excellent. At least she isn't playing Zoe from Corrie in every role, unlike Siobhan who just plays the Rita persona in everything.

I can think of nothing worse than watching period drama to look for mistakes. Well, except communicating them to other humans once you've noticed.

Zzz.

I am loving it, I couldnt care less if songs werent even written then or timing is out .It matters not a jot to me , becuase I am warming to Mary , Thomas is a prat , Mrs O Brien I want to slap , Anna and Bates awwww .
Bring it on , I love it, and those trousers were fab on her !

Looks like Lady Edith has written a letter that will let the cat out of the bag. Silly gel - all the Grantham women will be tarred with the same brush as a consequence.

Amusing as it is that quotes from RAB appear as stories in the Daily Heil, are their 'journalists' (and I use the term advisedly) really so lazy that this is their idea of a story? Commercial television channel broadcasts adverts - WOW!

PS message to any lazy journalist: trying doing a story on Trevor Eve's behaviour at the BBC instead - now that's a story ... ;)

Just caught a moment of the rerun on ITv at the mo -probably the best line last week - "No English man would ever dream of dying in someone else's house" :D:D

Most of the acting in it was good, especially from the old guard like Dame Maggie Smith. Wasn't a fan of O'Brien- couldn't ITV have hired someone like nation's sweetheart Saint Cheryl of Cole to play her? She could probably act the character better.

Would be quite the sensational story in those days..

But, then maybe they're leading us to think that. Either way, I feel there's a secret between those two!

I wish the BBC had made it then we wouldn't have the adverts inflicted on us. I appreciate the fact that ITV uses adverts to finance the programme, but it also shows why ITV should stick with the X Factor and Coronation Street.
