Do you run your Wii vertical or horizontal, and how hot is it while off?

mine is horizontal, and it get REALLY hot when i'm not playing it

I keep my Wiiconnect on 24/7 so it runs a little warm like it's supposed to.

i run it vertical and it stays room temp. it gets fairly warm if i have it on all day.

the wii gets hotter faster if you have it horizontal

I keep mine horizontal, with wiiconnect on and it barely gets warm. Maybe you should put your wii in a more ventilated area

as a reference, when i asked them to touch my wii ( ), they all went "holy shit why is it so hot?"

it runs with the ps3 and mine has never froze

we both know how hot the ps3 runs
so for the wii to give me shit, and the ps3 not to is weird

i noticed my wii was running warmer than usual when i laid it horizontal at a friends house. it ran warmer than it does vertically.

it would make sense because horizontally, there's little air between the bottom of the wii and the surface so it gets hotter

Vertical. Doesn't get hot, just warm. It's the only system that I have vertical I used to have my PS2 vertical for a while but now it's in the closet with the rest of the last gens
