Z Ziggy Stardust New member Apr 3, 2011 #2 Mine's vertical. I keep my Wiiconnect on 24/7 so it runs a little warm like it's supposed to.
K Kunmui New member Apr 4, 2011 #3 i run it vertical and it stays room temp. it gets fairly warm if i have it on all day. the wii gets hotter faster if you have it horizontal

W wnpark01 New member Apr 6, 2011 #6 I keep mine horizontal, with wiiconnect on and it barely gets warm. Maybe you should put your wii in a more ventilated area

C cb2j2s09 New member Apr 8, 2011 #12 i noticed my wii was running warmer than usual when i laid it horizontal at a friends house. it ran warmer than it does vertically. it would make sense because horizontally, there's little air between the bottom of the wii and the surface so it gets hotter
