Destroy the Rebirth - "Gundam 00" Season 2 on SyFy's Ani-Monday Talkback

Holy Mackrel, are they using an Mark IV Ion Cannon for that kind of blasts!

Well, we now see the A-laws are probably worse than CB had ever been by directly wiping out civilian targets. At least they're doing it in most cost-effective way.

If the President enforces a gag order, then he must know of the Alaws activity, or part of Ribbons plan.

There were very small timecuts throughout, but we got almost all of the epilogue in exchange. The only missing part was at the very end, which was a short "preview" of what's to come in the movie, though it was tiny and quite cryptic. Anyway, very good.

So, that's all folks (until the movie)! Quite a ride, that 00, huh?

Agreed. So happy they decided to air the epilogue. I love the scenes with Saji and Louise. At last they came out in the end, and so did everyone else for the most part. Kati and Patrick ftw.

The fight scene, to me.. well the whole first half of the episode was outstanding. I actually enjoyed it a ton.

Man, that was the most intense...

Missile Command match I've ever seen. I'm surprised those suicide mobile suits were so easy to destroy, guess the writers wanted to up the dramatics in a simple way. And confrontation galore! Everyone "luckily" got paired with the right people: Lockon with Ali, Saji with Louise, Setsuna with everyone, and so on. Also, yeesh, this show seems to love gunning down people to death while they're in their space suits. Overall, the two episodes provided some fun space fights and some tense moments, though cutting out the destruction of the Alaws annoyed me.

At least Corner was interesting enough.

All I'm I'm saying is that Ribbons wasn't the most dramatic choice for the final battle. Sure, he was the one screwing things around, and is the anti-thesis to Setsuna. That's fine, but the allegory weakened the climax.

After a rather shocking last week, I found myself healed by the light of SETSUNA!

Not really, but the message of forgiveness was rather touching. And probably more effective than the revenge minded plots in this series.

Yes, but she also committed genocide. And no matter what kind of freaked out past she had, that's not okay. I'm not even looking at the fact that she did a lot of other bad stuff or that she was a girl in a bad situation. She did genocide willingly and that's not cool.

(this is coming from the biggest Elfen Lied/Lucy fanboy ever)

Maybe you should think about why such a man would do such a thing Andrei? Or is the "skirt" just too distracting?

Arms like these shouldn't be fighting
*hand reaches over to crush his arm*
Are we learning yet Andrei?

And thus, Tieria takes another step forward on his Lockon emulation path, being able to give speeches that make it into dramatic lesson flasrabroadacks.
