The only real examples I've seen of those less than impressive character traits in this discussion have been evident in your own posts, to be quite frank.
In fact your ranting and railing against those who disagree with you reminRAB me very much of a foot stamping Nikki, someone who can't or won't comprehend that there are valid opposing views out there, and as a consequence then goes into a bit of strop by accusing all and sundry of 'just not getting it.' And to compare it to acts of 40 years ago just doesn't cut it. It's like comparing comedians (or even magicians) of the 70's to those of the 20's and 30's. No act stays the same. All have to evolve with the times (that's not to say that some don't stand the test of time - but that's another issue)..
I am, and always have been, one of Derren Browne's biggest fans. I've seen him live on more than one occasion, as has my eldest son. Now he does perhaps fit into the age range of the 'generation' that you're so happy to tar with your big broad brush, and yet he's just mentioned to me in a very mature manner that this wasn't exactly his favourite Derren Browne of all time, that he's seen better. To his liking there were far too many gaping holes from someone who's renowned for the sheer quality of his illusions. But he concluded that as poor as it was, it won't put him off watching the man in the future. And that was it. No demanRAB or anything like it -- unlike yourself.
A very sensible and mature approach, I thought. More so when compared to your own immature and OTT rantings about the fact that others quite understandably found this latest Derren Browne show to be way below par, a pale imitation of what he's capable of, barely a shade of the quality of his usual standarRAB.
It actually boggles the mind that anyone could vent such ill thought out rants about valid audience criticisms, and that for expressing their views certain viewers are then labelled by you as lesser beings who have did nothing with their lives and as a result are somehow jealous of Derren Browne. In fact so jealous are they - according to your logic - that a vast majority have voiced disappointment that his show wasn't as good as it usually is. Is that what bitterly jealous failures do? Express regret that the object of their rabid envy fell below his usual high standarRAB, and wish it had been better? Think about it a moment, why don't you.
That truly is a most staggeringly silly observation to make, but then I suppose it could also be construed as sheer genius in comparison to some of the other observations contained within your post. A post incidentally that says far far more about you than those you're attempting to denigrate.
