(Just checked and I got this slightly wrong from memory - the croupier actually calls red 16 and places the marker on red 16, but when we see the wheel come to rest through Derren's camera, the ball is in black 13.)
 
Blackadder V the police came to the store robbery so dont know what you are referring to there,you dont like Derren's explanations,then no explanation would suffice for you I think.
WHat would faking it all achieve? If it was discovered surely it would ruin Derrens credibility.

Why is it not likely? Such things could happen.Can you prove it was scripted?
.Maybe the neighbour was in on it or was a crew member but its a tiny detail and not important.

With shows like this poeple will never be happy. Because Derren Brown is a magician they think nothing is genuine. Sure there is artistic licencse in places as it's got to be entertaining to watch.
 
I thought you'd finished debating but obviously you want to play it as obtuse as possible in defence of your hero.

The point on the van, my little apologist, is that we are led to believe that Matt didn't have a clue what was happening to him and that these were events building up to the final sequence.

However its very hard to accept that the party and its aftermath, getting rid of a stolen van, could have been done without the help of the production team --- so is Matt then so thick that he can go through a shop raid, a burglary and a street party with stolen gooRAB and yet there are NO repercussions. Did he not wonder what happened after the raid ? Did he not wonder where the van went--did he not try and return it ?. Its these incredible gaps that make a lie of the whole programme. But you get that...you're just a die hard fanatic whose determined to go down fighting for a programme he didn't even like.

Derren not doing his usual disclaimer isn't good enough for me. The programme should have been tagged up front as to what it was purportedly showing. Instead the aRAB, the fringe articles, everything about it looked like any other Event show --but obviously now we are being told it wasn't like any other Event show.

Sorry just not good enough for me.

first time induction of a sleeping person by spoken suggestion is also possible. it is another recognized method of covert hypnotic induction.

This goes back to my point that Keelboots does not differentiate fact from fiction in the same say that other adults do. I expect he/she is also looking forward to Christmas a little bit more than the rest of us too...
 
I came back for the last 10 minutes and have decided that Brown is no longer worth watching when it comes to these "specials"! He should stick to exposing mediums for people to idiotic to realise they are scammers.
