AHA!! So he cheated and lied in the book that tells you all about the cheating and lying! How ingenious, it's all starting to not make sense now. :D
 
Just like Matt and his family, non actors asked to act just this once. People can shout down that opinion all they want but I saw absolutely nothing, nothing at all to convince me there is even a chance anything else is true. It was laughable at parts and I wanted to believe in what he was doing, I genuinely did but I couldn't go along with it, even half pretending with a straight face.




I thought the angle of that experiment was that he notices other people do nothing and then does nothing himself because they did nothing despite knowing that they have seen it. In that clip (I would have to see it again to be sure) it looked like the actors were not looking at the smoke or even gave any indication to Matt that they knew about it.

It looked to me like Matts decision was seeing the smoke, saw that noone else has noticed it, yet still says nothing, that to me is just odd. That's not following the crowd but choosing to ignore a potentially life threatening situation.

I would have to see it again though but I remember thinking they were all deep in their own thing and not giving Matt the indication they knew.

Maybe that wasn't even the experiment they were trying to recreate (I am thinking one about an American woman getting mugged I studied in uni), either way I didn't believe the scene like I normally do, to me it was in the script that he did nothing so he did nothing.
 
There was no misdirection in tonight's show. Misdirection is a technique to divert attention away from what is really happening. Simply making a fictional film and presenting it as fact is not misdirection.
 
She went up and was part of whatever trick was being performed and came back down to her seat afterwarRAB. Can't recall the particular trick she was part of. I think it was a group one but can't remember the specifics.

I was one of the photos in his "guess who" trick that night. Rather amusing.
 
I still hope this is leading to a staged crash into the BB house. Preferably not staged and landing direct onto Davina with Derren doing the handover, but hey.

No lets not. You made a bold claim that "Live" bits were not. I say back it up. There was no point in Derren lying,it didnt achieve anything.They could pre-recorded the whole show it woudlnt matter.

Derrean announced on Twiiter before show started he was at the airport, today he has posted name of hotel he and crew stayed at ,next to airport.
None of this was neccasasry if he wasnt even there! Feel free to call me names its cool.
Just because you know someone who works on Eastenders doesnt make you all knowing. I know people who work for Obejective who actually made the show.
 
yeah matt was an actor, paid to act and then hold his silence after the programme.

Thats how it always works with DB....magic circle members getting a few bucks for acting (minus the acting lessons)

I heard that DB is going to the moon soon......from where he will send a message to his fans on earth.:D
 
Yeah, I can understand the bystander effect but not when you yourself are in danger. What about his fight or flight response? :confused:

It feels ridiculous even discussing this because you can talk about one thing when there were multiple other ridiculous things going on.
 
Someone has suggested this already but perhaps there is some weird "live" clause in his contract with channel 4 that he can't get out of even though it's now impossible to find plausible set-ups that up the anti from his previous live shows.
