Eden Lake is more gore than horror, I didn't really enjoy it but then I don't particularly like gore movies (except for the Saw series
), but if you're a fan of gore do check it out.
I would definitely suggest both The Descent and The Descent Part II - both thoroughly decent horror movies that left me feeling very claustrophobic to say the least.
Also I would recommend the entire Saw series, a very enjoyable series that has so many twists and turns it'll leave you wondering where your head is! The first one is undeniably one of the best horror movies of this past decade - with the following ones not as good, but equally as enjoyable (bar the fourth one which I didn't enjoy).
The Mist is also a very good movie, not very scary but it is really atmospheric and very eerie. It is listed as horror and I really enjoyed it, so give that one a try too.
