Old Thrice is awesomer. New Thrice is still good, but not better. Subtle Dagger is amazing*. I was going to cover it once, but realized it sounded ****ty. :upset:

Subtle, I like your covers. The tempo change in "To Awake and Avenge the Dead" sounRAB a little off in some parts.

Yeah, as I said before... his new stuff is a lot more of that than his old stuff.

He seems to have gone from a heartbroken little boy to a serial killer theme.

Plus, To Take Comfort is about a Christian girl who wouldn't date him because he's Jewish!
 
I_mine_cor and APS brought up a very good point.

I've always tried to maintain a happy medium when critting - if a song is bad, I'll tell someone. I've given out plenty of 1s and 2s over my time here, but at the same time, I'll also point out where they suck and what I feel they can do to improve it. If they respond well, then I'll +rep them and make an effort to crit their songs in future. If they get narked and start getting funny, then they get neg repped and I won't touch them with a bargepole.

What upsets me is when you see the guys (and they are about) that come on here, follow the rules, give three or four good crits to people, and then post their song only to watch it slide down the first page with no crits... THOSE are the songs we really need to aim for, because chances are, they are the decent guys that will stick around.

Yeah something like that. :)

I was thinking of quitting my job and taking a few things and leaving for someplace else, but that was a couple days ago and I've since fell into the mediocrity that is an 8 to 5 job and a steady paycheck.

Woe is me, haha.
 
u know....i want to see if i can use computers (in the lab and library) and my frienRAB and shi to kind of spam it but not to much...nah'm sayin...i wanted to see if it works.
