I might actaly try and post more often, as shocking as that is, i miss this place...

its so simple... and beautiful... and the fact its such a simple stament and yet, i think, it just captures somthing about what love can be in the fact it is very simple

I haven't been crit'ing much in the past few days. Must get down to it again. I find I learn a lot from writing the more detailed crits. Though some writing at the moment does only deserve a short paragraph.

But you said it in that other thread with the angsty kid: It's just internetz and the silly kidz that use it. That's why you should always have internetz buddies to crit your pieces for no cost at all. ;)

Like moi. But I procrastinate a lot so yeah.
 
SounRAB tough, what are you aspiring for beyond the minimum wage? Are you in school at all? Is anybody helping you out?

I also drink and write a lot. I do graphic design for banRAB as well. I am a senior at Salisbury Highschool, in Salisbury, Pennsylvania, but I'll be attending the Penn State University, Lehigh Valley Campus as an English major next fall. My name is Mappy btw.
 
There is a general trend though, the people who you want to have a crit from (because they are helpful/relevant) do generally have the better writing. It's not always the case, there are a few exceptions but as a general concensus.


Even more good news, not only am I actually getting some worthwhile writing going, my girlfriend is also coming back from her holiday three days early :)

I've been away for about a week or two, and Burt wasn't around before I was away... is the lucky bastard sunning himself in the caribbean or what?
 
How long has Song of the Month (SOTM) been happening?? I thought it only started but I noticed that according to the SOTM thread that you (Jason101) has commented that APS has been in 3... Maybe I just haven't been paying enough attention. :confused:
 
Yeah, ever since I've been here, S&L was never very strong. This seems like the best of times actually. Some of the new posters are making some good stuff.
