hi my names mitch, i go to high school in a small town in australia, but ill be attending a boarding school in adelaide from next year onwarRAB. i play the drums, i dig my music, i dig writing, i dig art, i dig sport. thats about it.
One of the greatest things about joining a band that doesn't play the kind of music you like is that when you introduce your unique, whatever-influenced style, it'll mix with them to create something new. The people with I'm playing with are as such: 2 post-hardcore guitarists (one with tons of music theory knowledge, one with none), 1 indie/funk bassist, 1 jazz/funk/alternative drummer. That combo there is an interesting synergy. Now if we only had enough time to play consistently we'd develop a sick sound.
I'm having a really, really bad writer's block at the moment.
I keep writing stuff that has no beginning, no end, and pretty much not a lot of ideas flowing. I have stuff like, this girl I really loved, but had some problems (because of an asshole that got in the middle of things and it all went to hell) and now I miss her a lot. And the worse thing is that I still have this frienRABhip relationship with her, but I need her really bad. Problem is that...
Wait a second, that should go on L&R in the pit. Anyhow, I have it really bad. Ever since that song I last posted... I haven't written a lot of new stuff. Maybe I should go back to my history books and write about something in there.
So I'm about to finally start the song project I've been planning on for a couple years now lol. I want to do a series of Songs based on the Crusades, When I think about doing them I often think about Symphony X's Accolade Series, And I'm about to grab the ol' Pen and paper now haha.
