Community Thread / Tips and Questions

By the way, Jason, I never thanked you properly (or rather, at all) for your great critique of my piece. So I will now.

Thank you for the great critique of my piece.

Now doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Random internet moderator. Cool guy.

Anyways, the essay is good. It's incendiary but recquires a bit more of punch and racism to pump it up.

'sup hombres?

I've been enjoying a nice winter break, and as such have been away for a week or two.

Did we get a new mod yet? Or is there more chance of a haiku thread in The Pit?

Oh not too bad. I managed to miss this morning's lecture, but i made the afternoon two and that's me done until the 6th of March. Unfortunately after only 5 hours of freedom i'm already bored out of my skull. Perhaps i should do some reading, not read a book for a good while.

I won't stick it only because we have too many stickies as it is, but if it's good for the community in here and promotes good pieces it sounRAB like a good idea. You can always IM me with a list of pieces from the past month or something and we'll look at possible highlights. I'll run those we pick by Nick too so it doesn't seem biased.

I agree that there is no 'too much effort to critiqueing' point, but with me, critiqueing others works is hard because I feel like I'll be too nitpicky if I actually put effort in, probably the main reason I'm never here anymore.
