I wonder if I can get good inspiration from the communist manifest.

Hmm...

"The ghost of communism
surrounRAB Europe; death, proclaim the victorious fanfarre
UP THE REVOLUTION! UP THE PROLETARIAT!"

You do realise if you did that, I'd have to change my avatar to a random picture of an old man just to fit in.

Not lemonparty though. Never lemonparty. *shudders*

I'm actually not getting a lot of pit flameage recently. I think it comes with a thousand posts or something :p

I was goin to crit every song on the first page tonight but i don't have the energy. I'll probably do them tomorrow. Also, ozzfest05 keeps posting songs that i'm critting with several hundred worRAB and yet he posts two line replies to everyone's stuff. It's pissing me off to be honest. I tried to call him on it the other day and he just got bitchy and didn't listen. I'm waiting for Morrisey to give me a crit on my poem, afterwhich i'm going to work on the song for the lyrical challenge.

Out in the real world i'm bored as hell, hence the almost constant logged on status and lack of sleep. I've got nothing to do till university starts back(if i passed my exams and got back in) except work on some stuff for my band. We're just getting started again after kicking out a guitarist and bass player, so at the moment it's me and the drummer. We're gonna get a few songs written(or i am) and then we'll audition a few band members. The fun never stops

this. especially the last bit.

My tutors are quite good, they seem pretty objective. I wrote one story last year that was stupidly pretentious and trying so desperately to be post modern and edgy or whatever, and they saw it, understood what I was trying to do and gave me some good advice.

I try and post sometimes. But the lack of internet and work and stuff keeps me away.

I listen to alot of Brian Eno when I write, or post-rock or electronica. Things without lyrics.

Its a general question, basically looking at the whole of the year's module on culture and criticism. We can use any text we want to back it up, I'll probably use Othello, Oronooku, Mein Kampf, The Bluest Eye, Boyz 'N Da Hood and a selection of James Joyce stuff. Maybe King Kong and Birth Of A Nation if I need some filler.

I'm answering based on Toni Morrison's ideas of race and Foucault's concept of discourse/power.

I've planned the hell out of it today, hopefully it'll be done be Friday.
